Honestly I dont think they will look at Armstrong for instance they could have sold the season before gave him an extension then sold the following season for probably less than originally offered their will be offers with players ovb I’d predict Celtic negotiate with certain clubs for instance and say not this year can you wait until next season

All depends if your guy is * hot at recruitment

Something tells me ange has done some time as a scout we seen he had a handle on a database when he was at Australia basically did it all himself

Just look at his replacements for juranovic and Giakoumakis

Cant really compare kobayashi with jenz as both were not first team kobayashi as he was free feels more like a stop gap signing until this summer

Been said a few times but the bookies don't really know anything when it comes to manager markets, it's not like actual football, racing or anything where they have form and standings to set as a starting point, the odds shift entirely based on people putting money on it, they've got as much chance of being right as wee davey on whatsapp who just has a feeling. Huns putting money on it just because they want it to be true can make him the favourite at the boookies.

He's more than likely off. Successful people (players or managers) have a 2 or 3 year cycle here....more likely 2. We can rationalise it and go through the usual "he doesn't seem the type , not money motivated , why would he want to go to this club or that club " all we like but the fact is non Celtic people see the EPL as the Holy grail , most importantly because of the £££. He will treble his wages down there and reach the top in terms of proving himself to his doubters back home from back in the day. Hope it doesn't happen or they don't go for him properly as I would love one more year and him to have a crack at the UCL. However , the fact Spurs are sitting managerless would make me think strongly that it will start progressing next week.

 

Move directly to the "who should we replace Ange with " thread , do not pass go , do not collect £200.

It's not a surprise. Ange is very ambitious and the Spur's job is a golden opportunity for him to make his mark in the EPL.
If he goes we wish him all the best and get cracking on a suitable replacement.

 

Not your first rodeo is it

 

For some reason I keep thinking back to that interview he did after one of the cup games at Celtic Park amid the Leeds (I think?) speculation when he said ‘I think some people will be surprised at how long I’ll be here’, indicating he was here for the long haul.

With Ange appearing to be a man of real integrity I’d be surprised if he did go, particularly after making comments like that.

 

Guy that is running with it seems to be on the ball with spurs stuff.

No disrespect to ange but no major European manager wants to touch the spurs job so he is the most logical step for them.
