That is typical Rodgers though, he is good at coming in and signing a couple of bits of quality and getting the best out of what is there.

It happened with Liverpool, us and Leicester but as the project goes on and he has to start recruiting more players and rebuild teams it all starts to go to pot.

I would say he would be an excellent head coach but his ego gets in the way of that too and he inevitably falls out with teams leading players.

At a club like us where we have to turn over the squad regularly he probably isn’t that great a fit in the long term.

Most top managers won't look at them in their state and with no European football, meaning a lot of top players won't go there..

More likely to go for an Ange in the current situation. If they bagged champions league, then they'd go for someone as big as it gets, likely attracting better players. Europa would've been the tier below that for both. Now, it's more likely someone like Ange comes to the fore..

I think what's interesting is that everyone's roughly split as to whether he's away. Funny how people can hear the same speech or whatever and interpret it in totally opposite ways.

Part of me thinks Spurs will just retain Mason. If they can't attract a big name, it might be easier for the owners to place one of their own in charge as he'll get more time with the fans than a relative unknown.
