As others have said he's probably more interested in seeing what the fringe players can do than he is in winning the game. Also resting the better players and not being willing to risk them. He now knows for certain where he is with strength and depth. A lot of them will get punted I'm sure because they're simply not good enough. I'm not worried in the slightest by this result. I get that folks will be mad paying to go and watch that mince.

 

And how would he know that?

Can't imagine he won't have the team motivated for the cup final and plenty of Celtic sides have dropped off after a league win but we've not had a good 90 mins for ages and it would be nice to actually see us play well again before the season ends.

 

It's worrying. Is it just pre season type doesn't give a fuvk about results games?

Or is the writing on the wall he'* 3rd season down turn a few months early. Has he ever had a good 3rd season previously?

Well if he has what's the problem? I think we should all be told. Tbh being a manager in Scotland will have been a real eye opener for him. There's something really nasty about the whole mindset around football in this country.

Be interesting to hear what Ange has to say after tonight's debacle. As I said in the match thread the biggest mistake of all tonight would be to just dismiss it, this is NOT a one-off and those players need a serious wake-up.

He's one step ahead of everyone including you and I. He's delivered all that's been asked this season now relax and let him deliver the treble and freshen up the team for next season. Relax.

 

Didn't see anything coming from him on the sidelines. Hands in his pockets and giving off the same 'whatever' attitude that's being reflected in the teams performance.

Love the guy but the drop off since securing the league is bordering on unprofessional and leaves a wee bit of a bad taste.

I can't imagine he's happy with what he's seeing tho and I can see another decent sized squad overhaul this summer.

He isn't infallible. The recruitment this year has been woeful, only one signing has come in and made an instant impact and that was after because our LB left. Oh looks like he will deliver and Iwata could but Yuki, Bernabei, Seigrist and Abildegaard have been poor. We were rolled over in Europe too, we should have beaten Shaktar.
