Decent changes and more than strong enough to win. Folk need to step up and rise to the challenge. Expect a solid performance from. the MF.

Those fringe players need to start taking their chances. We don't have time for passengers. If they don't impress by the end of the season, we'll start to look at moving them on.

 

Could honestly be last chances for Bernabei and Kpbayashi, another bad game and it'll be hard to recover for both of them.

Is what it is. Would rather we won but chance for some players to prove they can make it here or they'll be moved on.

I agree JC.

I can't ever see him becoming a starter and feel he has been a bit unlucky with the games he has started. However if he wants to start a Celtic game ( or come on before 60 mins) then a game like this is a big opportunity for him.

I don't overly rate some of these picks as first teamers for next season but the setup is good. Bernabei who bombs on, playing with inverted winger in Haksabanovic, as opposed to Maeda. A natural right winger with Ralston behind who can come central and still have Abada stretching it....as opposed to Jota..

A mobile and solid trio in the middle. Kobayashi another I don't fancy long term but the balance is right. Even Bain I don't rate but will allow us to play out well from the back and is better at the sweeper keeper role as he's more mobile..

He was the league's player of the month in November. Hasn't really got motoring since he was injured though.

I think people have harsh opinions on the 'fringe' players because they haven't done anything as a 'fringe xi'.

I include myself in that, too.

However, the chances of seeing this line up ever in a competitive game is pretty much nonexistent.

They have all had their moments filling in with our strongest xi of any given time and that's probably the best we can ask from them. E.g. Haksabanovic has been tremendous at times coming off the bench, Oh looks like he could be a handful in the future.

I'm not saying they're guaranteed to be here next season and we need to replace some of these players that will at least push our starting xi. We are in a position now where I'd be happy with one or two filling in at a time, but that's about it.

 

Did I misread that or no Kyogo on the bench?
