It’s mental that a Celtic fan could come out with such absolute nonsense about Callum McGregor. Average to good player and never a Celtic captain I stopped reading after that @Taylor1

 

He’s improved this season and can get better but he needs to improve where it matters, in the Champions League competition.
Not only him but the whole team.
It’s not good enough that like this season we compared ourselves to Deadco in that we didn’t play as badly as them in Europe.
A club of our standing should be doing much better and since CalMac is captain, on the pitch it’s his responsibility to make sure that the team play as a team and don’t disappoint the supporters.

 

Some people won't like this but is has to be said, McGregor is a wonderful all rounded player but there's no shame in calling a spade a spade he's been caught out a good few times in the bigger games this season and seems to be immune from criticism. One that springs to mind when he needlessly lost the ball from a corner against Leipzig and Nkunku went up and scored. Not saying he was the only one in these games but if we're going to criticise other players he deserves it too. There's also no shame in saying he needs help in a double pivot doesn't mean folk are calling him *, we can all see hes being swarmed by 3 players against Rangers the players around him werent doing much to create space for him. All that being said he is a serial winner and that kind of mentality is captain material. I'm sure Ange will test a few different things out next season as he's always looking for ways to improve. Never settle for where we're at.

you do realise we dominated sevco in every game that mattered and mcgregor played a huge role in that so much so that sevco's tactic is to try and stop him getting the ball ,they cant cope with him

Daft Paul doesn’t know his * from his elbow about anything but hilariously is one of these * who thinks they know it all. Getting back to the point on Mcgregor I think you’re very harsh calling him an average player. When he doesn’t play in our team he’s a huge miss.

 

He is exemplary in everything.

 

His accent is awful.

 

I've always said it, I wish I could have have Callum as a butler in my house, cooking my meals and doing my cleaning.
