The second half was more unacceptable yesterday with no subs to change it and we hardly got out our own half as the space was shut down as their three midfielders pressed continuously and left cuntwell to roam in free space with sometimes no Celtic player picking him up just look at the first goal he is standing himself with plenty of space to score .
Ang needs to have have a plan B when they try to stop McGregor and shut down our midfield and the zombie keeper had really had one save in 90 minutes totally unacceptable.

Because it’s against the huns. Any defeat is magnified. The players let him down badly yesterday in my opinion. He picked a team that was more than capable on paper. Their starting eleven was utter *, but they totally suffocated us. The only justified criticism I think was the fact there was no changes at half time.

Cuntwell being praised as the next Messi.

The same Cuntwell that hadn't layed a finger on us in the previous 3 games that actually had meaning. Hahaha

A dead rubber game and imo the hungrier team won.
Tried to convince my self it meant nothing but our performance really annoyed me.I thought we lacked some real desire and passion and against them that should never happen but i guess the players had one eye on their holidays.

As iv said before on here our corners are a joke, most times we seem to play it short and pass it around and eventually either lose it or play it back(just hit the * ball into the box, thats the whole point of a corner).

Also this playing it around at the back....ok all teams do it but i really think we over do it,sometimes a good ball up the pitch can put the opposition under pressure.

We haven't been great against them in a few games and yesterday we paid for it,hopefully ange will realise a couple of the fringe players just arent good enough.

Just awake, hangover from * x 2 and * gutted! No words for that performance yesterday. Some saying it doesn't matter, well it matters to me. Detest getting beat by them in any game. We dust ourselves down and draw a line under it. It'll definitely give them a boost for next season I do believe.

The fact is it'll absolutely harm them for next season. Why an earth would that skint board sanction more loans to buy better players when the current crop can win by 3? :56:

Another false dawn for the zombies.

Can accept losing a game. Cant accept that level of performance. But lets not pretend this was a pre season friendly. We wanted a win.
Concerning from some of our back up players and suggests maybe some are simply not good enough and cant be relied on when called upon.
Its a smirch on what has been a remarkable season.

We definitely are overdoing the knocking around the back .compared to last season where almost all passes were going forward .we need to have the ball in the right areas of the pitch for possession to count for anything

Final analysis. It's a self-inflicted defeat. It's everything we've seen - It's the turnover, the counter. We played right into Rangers hands.

And no subs at HT when we were down 2-0 and looked out.

    Utterly baffling from Ange.

Got to remember if we've got our full squad available and the game meant anything five possibly 6 of these outfield players don't start.

Always hate them beating us but I've got no worries for next season.

Every dog (including the mangiest of mutts) has its day...

Looked at the stats of yesterday on a credible site and the xp was 1.7vs1.1 for their favor. We just gave them gifts, and they took them...

But the truth is that games are fleeting, but history books are forever. We're almost certain to finish a great season on a treble, and with more victories over them in total. Still a sickener to lose to them, and especially in that manner, but bigger picture is that this was a dead rubber.

My big hope is not based on their fans/board having false confidence because of this, but that our board gets a wakeup call about how easy it is for us to be complacent. I want Ange angry, and the board hearing it, and for it to crystallize their thought processes on where we ACTUALLY are, vs where the results to date have pointed

Honda, it's nieve to think this. The Hun board will have a set budget for them next season and I don't believe this game has any bearing on it. I do suspect the Huns will be stronger next season and will give us a better run at it than this season .

Nah; not good enough to settle for ‘he’s not going to do it.’

… Especially when what he’s being asked to do isn’t change his whole system or even the shape at all - it’s slightly tweak who goes where and when. Not rocket science, and if I were the board and Ange came to me saying he needed better players to up our performances vs the Huns or the likes of Bodø, I’d laugh straight in his face.

Managers manage. That means they do what it takes to get the best out of the players in every game. He simply isn’t doing that vs the Huns.
He has more than enough at his disposal to be able to break their counter-press. We shouldn’t be putting up with these mediocre performances vs them when we’re actually streets ahead quality wise.

Should be hanging his head in shame that a no-mark like Beale has been able to get his players to play to more of their capacity than Ange has with ours in the last 5 derbies. Unacceptable to coast along and say we don’t need to get out of 2nd gear to beat them simply because we ‘play our football’.

Players are to blame for sure, but so is Ange, and anyone saying otherwise is in total denial.

If we all hold our hand up and admit th 3 games against them in quick succession this is the 1 I would have given up every time.
I don't think ange is the type to throw a game or minimise it but he is smart enough to realise its importance in the context of the next competition ....the cup final and as has been said... it was a chance to try a few things, at the start of the game I mentioned this was a chance to see how we cope in Europe away and although it was a weaker team we fielded it still told us enough that we will get destroyed against decent opposition away from home without players who take their chances at goal, and when fielded those are the margins that give us a chance against teams who will have much more experience.
If we sort this part out over summer then we should be closer to taking some scalps again .
