He wasn’t bad. Nowhere near his level, but it wasn’t like Mooy’s performance in the last game.

He actually started making better passes in his last few minutes. Totally ineffectual 1st half, but good to see him back regardless.

Mooy played really well when he came on and gave us a better out ball.

I think everyone kinda knew it was a risk to start him and he did look rusty, took a while for him to get involved and wasn’t his usual self. I’d start him next few games though along with McGregor & Iwata.

He is one of the main guys I would like to see get game time to be ready for the final in the post split fixtures. Get him back to his best.

He was every bit as bad as Mooy has been coming in from the cold but will get a pass because it’s Hatate which, in part, is fair enough considering how good he’s been this season.

He was the only one off it yesterday though, not his fault because he shouldn’t have started. He was also persevered with far too long, game was crying out for Iwata at half time.

I’d go one further & say he should’ve been taken off before half time. Worth the gamble starting him but he was effectively a man down. Clear as day early doors he wasn’t up to the pace of the game and we were fortunate not to get punished for it. Just highlights how much better than them we are really.

Should start again at Tynecastle and get more game time in his legs. We want him fresh and ready for Ibrox in two weeks.

Well pretty much everyone in my vicinity in the pub would disagree with you there. But obviously some see things differently which is sound. Wasn’t so much on the ball (he didn’t have it that much) but was the defensive side/tracking back etc.

Despite being unfit and a bit rusty, he still did more than cuntwell or Raskan did for the zombies.

He was nowhere near as bad as Mooy was in the previous game against them. Not even close either.

Fair enough, all about opinions but I don’t think he was as bad to the point you’d be looking to hook him before half time. He wasn’t great and I agree about the defensive side of the game, he just wasn’t involved at all.

For what it’s worth I thought the game completely bypassed Iwata when he came on too, couldn’t get into it at all. Mooy was excellent though.

I thought he had some excellent defensive work but poor on the ball. People going overboard here

He was clearly off it but nowhere near as bad as Mooy in the last game against the huns.

Hatate was just largely anonymous with a couple of poor passes. Whereas if Mooy was a dog you'd have put him down.

What an utterly bizarre analogy to use about a Celtic player.

Mooy was way worse his first game back.

I thought Hatate was more ineffectual than bad against them, mainly because for the most part he just kept it simple and didn't do a lot. Mooy on the other hand, was genuinely bad on his return, although that was probably greatly exacerbated by him trying more risky passes, none of which came off for him (but usually do)

Who gives a toss though, since we won both games :smoke:
