Haksa deserves to be starting over Jota at the moment.

Although we play some great football, there are times we play too safe with possession. Amount of runs being made in behind that go to waste can be frustrating.

This is the controversial opinion thread mate. Please don't post things that are perfectly understandable and non-controversial.

Also enjoy your alert for this reply.

Probably get banned and lose all credibility if ever I had any.

Just seen Graeme Souness has packed in Sky.
Been in his company a good few times and I really really like him. Hated him when he was an orc but he's a good guy.

Celtic should play Rangers in a two legged affair at Ibrox and Celtic park (away goals count) at the end of the season, if they win they should be awarded the league and if we win we will get the league for next season.

Totally get this. In what way are we the greatest fans in the world?

Are we more faithful or loyal than, say, fans of Albion Rovers?
We absolutely (and rightly) revere the old Jungle, but it hardly housed the most progressive of people, lol. (The racism, homophobic and sexist stuff would've been no different to what was going on at every ground in Scotland, but then how can we claim to BE different, and even "the greatest"?)

Don't get me wrong, when Celtic Park is full and we're behind the team for 90 minutes, I don't think anyone in Britain can rival us for noise, colour, passion and humour - and how many sets of fans are clearly inspired by us? - but a bit of humbleness wouldn't go amiss.

Might start a thread on this, lol

Personally, I think he genuinely was a c*** TBH, but the last 10 years or so, I've quite often found myself thinking: "When did Graeme Souness become a really decent guy?" I think he shows that people really can change, especially if they have to go through something (which I'm guessing might be the case with him).

The work he does with the DEBRA charity and that wee lassie Isla made me see the man, not the footballing *.
Somethings are bigger than football, even though it sometimes doesn't feel that way (speaking personally).

It's like Broony and Lennon (the player), if they played with them they would have loved them.

There is genuine * IMO like the dead kitman, Morelos, le petite merde, Iain Ferguson, Novo and Hatley but I don't put Souness and Walter Smith in that category.

Most will disagree and that's fine mate, it's just what I've found.

Edit...add the rapey goalie, Lafferty and Diouf to that list....despicable humans.

It's a good talking point mate, and yes self praise isn't worth much, but I do believe the Celtic fanbase is up there with the best.
I know the TB quote is not the best to quote after Ange, but it's so true! The places we turn up in is mental. If Celtic are playing their will be fans clamouring for tickets, so on the visibility bit we are pretty awesome.

What i think is especially amazing and takes us to another level is the moral and ethical position we take, I don't mean the * that have infiltrated this forum and their right wing, odd views, I mean the fans I know in every bar, bus and ground that is happy to fight for the oppressed, discriminated and victims of right wing, bigoted hysteria.

I'm not going to say we are the greatest fans in the world, but we have a core fundamental social set of values that make me proud to be part of it and we are different to most fan bases who don't have that sense of identity.
