Sorry mate but no way should Bernabei be anywhere near that team on Sunday!! Positionally inept, panics and gives the ball away in dangerous areas. We are not a club to take chances and let him “be tested”. Just think of it this way, he plays and because of his very poor defending we get turned over. The outfall from that would be terrible for us and potentially catastrophic, in footballing terms, for Bernabei.

He is dross. Michael Higdon scored 26 league goals in 2012/13 (7 more than Gary Hooper) but was a dreadful footballer.

There's a history of * players having spectacular seasons in this league. Regan Charles-Cook last season, Liam Boyce, Adam Rooney, Billy McKay, Chris Killen etc.

I wouldn't say he was dross, he's not good enough for us but a decent player even compared to all them. I've thought he's done well against us and the huns this season, for an older big guy he's not that slow and he's decent on the ball even in wide areas and around midfield. Has more about him I think than those guys, out them Boyce is probably the better allround player at least a couple of year ago but Van Veen does have a bit about him outside the box.

Mate he’s dross. A quick look at his career tells you that.

That defending from Taylor was pathetic.

Agree, Taylor made an absolute * of it, he should have backed off him and waited for a slack touch or whatever, don't know what he was doing turning his back but I have thought that Van Veen looked half decent, has more about him than you'd have thought looking at his career.

Was one of the better displays against us by a striker in the League in a long time, first 10-15 minutes they were well in the game just mainly though him being able to hold onto a ball, then they never kicked a ball again really but that one time they got him the ball he scored.

Think he's a decent big striker, technically one of the best in the league.

He ain't gonna lead our line, but I'd think he'd be decent for us as a 3rd striker even, technically brilliant. Not that I'm pushing for a move for him, but he's hardly dross.

Celtic star admits: 'I didn't know I was a player of the year candidate'
It isn’t just Celtic’s expected starring acts that have earned acclaim for the club’s scintillating form this season.

As thoughts turn to potential player of the year nominees for Ange Postecoglou’s treble-chasing champions elect, justifiably the name of Greg Taylor has been mentioned in dispatches alongside such club luminaries as Kyogo Furuhashi, Callum McGregor, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Reo Hatate. The Scotland left-back is chuffed at such recognition for endeavours across a campaign in which he has undoubtedly become one of his team’s standard-bearers. But the focus for the 25-year-old remains on ensuring he isn’t undone by letting his standards slip.

“I didn’t know I was a candidate…” said Taylor. “It’s a massive compliment to be spoken about and it’s nice when the plaudits come along. But I know how quickly things can change if you don’t cut the mustard. I just keep trying to improve and focus on finishing the season strongly. The awards tend to go to the goal scorers anyway…

There are several candidates from this team. It says a lot and that’s a credit to the players themselves. Everyone has played their role in the team and everyone plays their part. We know we wouldn’t be as successful if everyone didn’t give themselves over to the team. Look at Kyogo. You see him running all the way back to his own goal to defend, and these things don’t go unnoticed. It’s unbelievable. But that is what it’s like throughout the squad, everyone wants to help one another. It’s great to have that.

He sure does. He gets stuck right into them, the way Brown did.

I don't think we have lost a game against the Huns when Taylor has started, except the Cup Semi last year, but he went off injured in that one. Correct me if I am wrong.

Higdon was a decent player to be fair to him, moved on after that season to the Eredevisie for NEC scored 14 goals in 32, got 7 assists. All round done very well.

Got homesick, went back to England and * it, he’d had a cracking five years or so before that. Liked him, wasn’t good enough for us but dreadful and dross he was not.

    Actually like a poundshop GG.
