I just hope Iwata starts, i think even with Hatate, Jota and Abada not starting, we still have enough to win the game. They’ll be on the bench, but like i say, we have enough to still put out a strong 11.

    Hart

    Johnston
CCV (would be happy with Kobayashi tbh, if CCV is struggling)
    Starfelt
    Taylor

Iwata (has to start for me)
    McGregor
O’Riley (great on his day, usually turns up in big games)

    Maeda
    Kyogo
Haksa* (unpopular decision maybe, but he has to be given the chance i feel, will be replaced by Jota/Abada at some point)

*will be interesting to see who starts here. Ange plays his cards close to his chest, wouldn’t be surprised if the injured trio are fitter than he’s been letting on.

Considering the opposition in the other semi this is the closest we will get to finalising a treble with them as the opponent will break their hearts

It would be massive to have Jota and Hatate available. I think Abada will be and if the other two don’t make it he will start.

The back 5 and McGregor will all be the usual, O’Riley will likely play and Maeda and Kyogo, it’s who is the other centre mid and right winger.

I know I've said it umpteen times before but, if we can just deal with their crosses into or box and not give away any stupid fouls in and around our box, then we will win.

Aye, whoever wins this semi will win the Scottish Cup.

    Comfortably, too.

*Stop the crosses coming in. Prevention better than cure. Meada and whoever plays on the right have to put in a defensive shift and pressure Barasic and Tavernier.

Too big a risk to start Hatate for me. Id go Iwata, Mcgregor and O’Riley.

Mooy was off the pace when he was brought back in, i dont think its the right game to throw Hatate back into.

Its not in Anges style but id like us to play Iwata and Mcgregor in the double pivot, with O’Riley advanced. I just think it would give us a nicer balance in midfield.

Not sure Haksa has done enough to keep his place, but injury may mean he does. He needs to step it up.

Said it elsewhere, but I’d be tempted to go bold and give Vata the start. Adrenaline and drive as a young player in that situation can carry you a long way and paper over the cracks of inexperience, up to a point. Have Abada ready to come on.

Obviously if Jota makes it, he starts but.

No question to have Jota and Hatate available would be massive for us. Abada's goals record against the zombies is good too so he will likely start if Jota can't go or come off the bench if Jota is fit.

Set pieces is their most dangerous weapon IMHO while in the run of play its crosses from their full backs. The biggest issue for me defensively is the set pieces we must be rock solid there.

Was my thinking when I first saw the draw. Would be a massive upset if the winner of our game Sunday does not win the final.

This. Pains me to say it but that * captain of theirs is a pretty decent crosser and he can't half hit a free kick tbf. Keep him quiet and they're *.
