Performance drop since his injury tells a lot about how important he is.

 

Miss him so much...

 

I'd play him at 40% fit, same with Jota.

We will see. Reo has been out for four weeks and he will have to train all week

 

Normally you would think when managers say things like "We'll see" that there's a strong chance the player will be fit for the game in question.

But Hatate not featuring today told a story. Given he has been out for 4 weeks or so already, today would've been a huge chance to get him back on the pitch and get some minutes before the cup semi-final. Him not even being in the squad suggests it may very well be tight.

There's no chance Ange would want him going into the Rangers game having not played a minute in around a month.

 

We miss him badly.

McGregor is our deep lying playmaker but Hatate buzzes about the midfield making us tick the most. The G/A stats won't show it but he's the creative heartbeat of this team. His ability to get on the half turn, play intricate little passes and dribble past players with a couple of body feints is something no one else can really do.

We've faired reasonably well without him but when he's in the side we're a different animal. He got injured at such an annoying time, it's been nearly 5 weeks since he went off against Hibs. I can't imagine he'll be fit for the semi. Just got to do it without him and have him back for the final.

Love him and I get that he’s probably been told by security not to engage with fans and to get into the stadium quickly, but it always pains me to see players ghost kids like that.

All they wanted was a quick photo or high 5 and it would have made their days.

Supposedly he aggravated it in training before the last huns game. He's a big miss but I thought Jota was an even bigger miss yesterday

 

Doesn't surprise me he's terrorised Motherwell everytime he's played them. Think he'll win tbh and we'll deserved imo

 

And he will be back to do the same on Sunday

 

Hatate is superb but we have a pool of McGregor, Iwata, Mooy and O’Riley with him for three places in the middle of the park.

The drop off in quality with Jota missing on the wings is glaring, especially when Abada is out, too.

We miss Jota more than Hatate. There's a reason why we need to buy another winger in the summer.
