Keeper FS, absolutely brutal.

 

I miss the big man.

I've had a bad feeling about this from the beginning. That we're going to regret losing big GG. Ive a bad feeling that we will

 

I don't think we've missed him really. Not lost since he left, Oh is fitting in well.

 

He's not been missed at all. He hadn't been scoring anywhere near enough for us this season and (thankfully Kyogo is on fire so we didn't need him to)

 

He did us a favour as we got A better player in with Oh.
I did like big G as he could certainly ruffle up defences and drag them all over the place but he had a tendency to go down far too easily and this went against him as he didn’t the fouls that he should of.

 

Average of a goal every 93 minutes this season and is our 4th top scorer behind Kyogo, Abada and Jota.

Only striker to score in the CL. One of two guys to score in the CL for us infact.

I’m * he forced a move us well but for some reason * are trying to pretend he wasn’t good.

A goal every 86 minutes last year as well. Guy was consistent as *, even when only getting a wee 15 minutes at the end of the game.

I like Oh, good addition, he’s a prospect though. Ange said himself GG was an experienced pro that was reliable.

Far too early to call if he’s missed or not, because the biggest thing that was needed was him stepping in last year when Kyogo got a long term injury. We don’t knew if Oh’s capable of carrying us as the main man yet, we knew that GG could.

See the 4-0 Kyogo got injured minutes in? Has any of us ever had the experience when following Celtic when our star striker gets injured early against them, being not too concerned cos it doesn’t make a difference because who’s coming on? That’s what GG gave us. If it happened next week I’d be concerned and more hopeful than confident that Oh could easily replace him.

 

Thats exactly it. I remember that game you are talking about. When Kyogo had to go off I was the same - not too worried- cause we knew big GG could do a job. It was a different threat of a striker coming on to replace him, not one that was not as good. I fear we will miss that from the bench..........but you cant keep some players happy by just giving them a squad place every week on the bench.....players will want to be playing every week which is what we couldnt guarantee him.

 

3 in 3 starts. No surprise really.

 

We've not missed him in the slightest. Oh will be a better player than him.

 

Good to see the big man doing well.

 

Hope we have a goal clause in the deal.

Should be hitting whatever target we would have set.

 

The guy knows where the back of the net is so not surprised to see that at all.

 

I hope we have a good sell on, because they got far too good a deal on GG

 

Nice goal, that kit could be one of our away strips.

 

Happy to see the big man doing well, have no ill will towards him, he wasn't first choice for us and isn't young, so I can see why he wanted to leave.

 

I really like Oh which has eased the blow somewhat. GG was a cracking big player for us. Had some deficiencies in his game no doubt but was a big game player. Glad to see he's doing well.

 

He's too good to be second choice really. Hope he continues to do well but Kyogo is rightly our #1

 

GG will always have a place in our hearts. He came, he saw, he conquered, and he left too early.
But time marches on.
