Can't see him getting a top 10 club for a long time, if ever.

... Announced as Brighton boss :56:

Leicester were struggling when he went there. He could get a job with a club the size of Palace, Villa or Everton and I think he would have them competitive enough for a Conference league place.

Was some funny reading there. 1 fluke season and think they deserve top 4 every season. BR almost done it twice then never got any money. Seems a bit of a hun entitlement with money and expectation there. Hilarious. Hope they go down.

Still in the top 2 or 3 best managers from the UK to be fair.

Probably only Howe ahead of him. He’ll get a good job no bother.

The hate for him is understandable in the sense he boosted in a flash during the night, but ultimately it was coming to a close anyway.

He wanted to spend money on players that we couldn’t justify spending huge amounts on. If memory serves me right he wanted to spend plenty on Piccini, McKenna, and Castagne. Bullets dodged with the first two and the latter was unrealistic.

Schar, McGinn and Justin were more manageable targets. When we signed the likes of Mulumbu and Shved, the writing was on the wall. Those signings were nothing to do with him, and they weren’t the only ones.

He’s a brilliant coach but his recruitment has been proven to be absolutely terrible at every job he’s been at. For his next job he should do what he’s always done in the first year, then definitely don’t ask Lee Congerton what he thinks.

I actualy think he'd do well at Chelsea, as long as somebody kept a close eye on his signings.

He'd never get it though as not seen as a big enough name. Spurs might also suit him, but wouldn't get that for the same reason.

Dont think any of the other EPL teams would go for him, as from Crystal Palace down they are all close to relegation.

I think we might see him at one of the Championship sides that just miss out on promotion.

He did. Last season they came 5th. Which is a remarkable achievement. Seemed to me their board were banking on CL and when they didnt make it twice it was a case of sell your best players with no reinvestment. Cant blame Rodgersfor that. But you can blame him for not getting the best out of atill a decent squad. Also...his defense was always *..

Came 8tg last season, 5th the two prior and 9th when he joined in 19. Both times 5th they were 4th before the final day, so he had opportunity for CL. The board did * him over this year when your biggest signing is Harry Souttar. I think most managers would have struggled this year there but maybe they would have preplanned for it better. They haven't planned for Vardy losing his legs which should have been done.

Hes * at signing players anyway. Probably would have bought alot of * if they let him spend this season

Noticed other teams fans down there are calling him dinosaur now. His obsession with keeping possession bores you to tears tbf. Seems to turn toxic at all his clubs too

Can't see him down in the championship, he'll be back in EPL soon I'd say.

Think he’ll go to the continent next, especially somewhere like Spain or Portugal, where you’ll get away with mainly playing keep-ball and not bothering with defence much. He’d probably do quite well in that sort of context, to be fair to him.

Much as he likes a sideways passing game and doesn’t have the exciting urgency of an Ange, we still rarely ever struggled to create under him.
