read most of his books but getting * off with his increasing mention of ghost of his daughter and other supernatural bullshit, pity as his two gay men one retired hitman and other retired burglar should have their own spin off books

‘1982:Brazil: The Glorious Failure’ by Stuart Horsfield.

It’s basically a guy bigging up the Brazilian World Cup side of ‘82.It cost like £20 but not too fussed,it’s a decent read and has a nice cover and cool pics inside.

There definitely has been a growing supernatural trend in the series as it has moved along no question about that.

not a Harry Hole book but a good read. If you’re looking at starting reading a Nesbo book you can’t go wrong with his Harry Hole series book, ‘The Redbreast’, it jumps between present day and Norwegians role as nazis fighting for Germany, cracking read.

Finished Isaac Asimov's third and final Galactic Empire novel Pebble In The Sky. Not as good as the first 2 in the series I felt but still well worth the read.

82 was when I went to my first World Cup, 16 at a campsite outside torremolinas, so I saw that Brazilian side up close in Seville, Narey scored first, a belter, people were taking photos of the scoreboard and this was before mobile phone cameras, that just annoyed the Brazilians who let us off with a 4-1 defeat especially with allan rough in goal

Finished Anne Rice's The Mummy. So sad that she passed away at the end of last year. Truly one of my favorite writers and loved this stand alone book of her's. It is very much in her horror/super natural historical fiction tradition.
