Lost the ball a right good few times and wasn’t making his same runs. Played it safe a LOT playing it back the way. Don’t think he was good at all imo

Aye I thought he was one of our poorer performers yesterday. Not a million miles away from Bernabei's performance in midweek actually, gave the ball away a bit needlessly and got beat a few times first half. No big deal though, we know what he brings.

He is. Was a poor game by his own standards this season. A full week before the next game should give him plenty of time to recuperate.

Don't expect to see him vs hibs, bernabei in and give Taylor a few weeks rest, intact I wouldn't play him again until we play the huns!

It is a Celtic matter' - Steve Clarke explains Greg Taylor's surprise Scotland omission
Steve Clarke has revealed that "one or two little issues" are behind the surprise omission of Celtic left-back Greg Taylor from his Scotland squad.

The 25-year-old has not been selected for the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Cyprus and Spain at Hampden Park later this month despite enjoying a stellar season for the Premiership leaders.

Clarke has named Andy Robertson, Kieran Tierney, Aaron Hickey and Nathan Patterson as his full-back options with Taylor missing out for the second successive camp after Celtic refused to release players for Scotland’s friendly in Turkey in November due to the club's involvement in the Sydney Super Cup.

Taylor was rested for Celtic's league win over Hearts at Parkhead last Wednesday but was recalled to the starting line-up for the Scottish Cup quarter-final win at Tynecastle on Saturday. Clarke suggested that there were mitigating factors behind Taylor’s absence, but refused to give exact details.

He said: "I know Greg very, very well. We have a good relationship. I have had a chat with him and he is fine. There are one or two little issues around that one, which is not for me to say. It is a Celtic matter."

Didn't play midweek and wasn't quite looking 100% at the weekend, not surprised if he's carrying a minor injury and don't want to risk anything training with the national team, unlikely he'd play ahead of Tierney or Robertson anyway.

Strange, I wonder what's going on behind the scenes. Maybe just needs a rest and we've told him that. Wouldnt be surprised to see Bernie start at the weekend.

Hes got an achillies injury and supposedly was seeing a specialist about it. It can be managed until the end of the season according to some poster on KDS

Ah, that's *. I'd play Bernie every game outside the huns now then. No need to risk it.

We need him for Huns games, so be it if we have to leave him out against Hibs, with the int break, that will give him a good chance to get right.
For me, would love to see Reo play LB against Hibs, with Iwata starting.
