Thank * we don't have him, but imagine if Lennon was our manager. He would get banned game after game after game for slaughtering the refs in the media.

Lennon has my utmost respect for that. ALWAYS.

He played them like the cheating * they are. And left them with nowhere to hide.

Called it as we all saw it, and called them out for it.

They spat the dummy out and went on strike, which backfired as there wasn't a contentious decision to be found the weekend they were replaced.

    * came back with their tail between their legs. Played it cool for a month or two, then when Lenny left, operation prop up the Huns was back on. And has been since.

Will always say that was one of the best weekends football in scottish history, think we had a Portuguese ref, the game was based on football, not a hidden agenda. * I miss that weekend .......

Ref was shocking tonight. Pedantic as * with pulling back throw ins and free kicks. But let them steal yards on more than one occasion. Jota went down holding his head, ref seen it and turned away and didn't look back

Never seen that before. A goal awarded by VAR then the replay with the lines drawn shows that the striker was offside.

I've realised that the reason they do a VAR check on every one of our goals is just to give the other side a chance to catch their breaths.

It's no coincidence that the SFA didn't give a * about VAR until Ange had us running teams ragged with his high energy possession based game, then they couldn't bring it in fast enough.

The second replay i thought he was on and then when it showed the lines Ginnelly looked clearly off. His knee..

Bizzare all round tonight. The linesman flagging Kyogo for our equaliser when he was 3 or 4 yards on..

    Stopping every quick freekick
Making us go back whenever we took a quick throw
No even speaking to them when they were wasting time at every chance, particularly goal kicks
2 of our players go down from head knocks and he let's it go

Dirty wee * and always has been..

I'm surprised VAR didn't send Bernabei off though..

The 4th official going back to Neilson's later. They were talking the whole game..

There is a margin of error for VAR offside decisions. Offside has to be offside by the lines and a few more inches.

Then what's the point in the lines? Surely the whole point of the offside decisions is that it's objective, you draw the lines and that shows you whether it's on or off?

FWIW, I hate the way VAR is used for offside, analysing evening to the nth degree and giving offside for a bit of toe being beyond the defender. For me the rule should be, if it's not clearly offside, give the benefit of the doubt to the attacker. What I can't understand is them having the lines, the attackers line being beyond the defender's, and deciding that it's onside anyway.

The Hearts players knee is further forward in both lines for me.

How come we're paying absoloutly millions for this VAR yet were not getting that cool zoom in angle change 3D stuff showing the exact mm body part that plays them onside/offside? Instead we get a birds eye view from space with a squint line.

If your going to cheat at least be smart about it. Going against the lines, the whole point of var offsides is it should always get the right decision.

In the English Premier league they've said a couple of times if the lines overlap they call that onside. There is a margin of error in the VAR system.

The difference last night was the linesman flagged for offside. His decision should not have been overruled using the margin of error.

"The positioning of the crosshair is manual, with a line one-pixel wide, so that the exact position of the offside line and the relevant body part can be accurately identified by the VAR.

To begin with the two lines, attacking and defending, are coloured yellow and black. In this state, the VAR can change the position of each line. These lines are not the final confirmed position. From the 2021/22 season, the process was tweaked as part of an adjustment to the implementation of VAR.

Firstly, for marginal offside decisions, after the one-pixel lines are applied, the VAR puts on the thicker broadcast lines and where they overlap, those situations will now be deemed as onside"

Only if the lines overlap. There is absolutely no excuse for what happened last night. It is either gross incompetence or gross misconduct.

Who puts the VAR lines up anyway is it Walsh or the Assistant VAR guy, who was Graeme Leslie last night or is it neither of them and some other guy in a van?

Whoever it was deliberatley tried to make it look onside when it wasn't and still didn't even look it depsite them trying to make it look on lol
