When Taylor plays against the Huns for the full ninety minutes we generally win.
He is not a weak link, he is the strongest link in the chain.

All about opinions mate but I think you're way off with this.

Apart from the fact that no European teams lumped balls down our left hand side, I seem to remember it was Juranovic that was under more pressure in these games than Taylor.

Taylor isn't the quickest and defensively he can be caught out on occasion.

But he is integral to the way ange wants us to play and his excellent positioning and quick passing allows us to break the press and play out from the back. He also supports the attack and links up well with maeda and hatate or whoever it is playing in these positions.

To suggest maeda only gets a game to cover for Taylor, mon tae * mate, you can't believe that.

Taylor was described as a journeyman when he joined us and has improved massively since then. He's not got the superstar status of some in our team but we're a better team when he plays.

I think you either need to get out the bubble of this forum or put down the drink if you genuinely believe he’s a POTY contender.

You're literally the only person who follows Scottish football to think Taylor won't be a POTY candidate.

He's 110% a candidate and will 110% be in the team of the season.

It's not even a debate, ya fud.

I’m yet to see anyone outside of this forum speak about Taylor in a way seen on here.

Most are objective and acknowledge he’s a competent player who could be upgraded upon.

He’ll be in the SPFL TotY? That’s Guardiola and co sold on him!

Someone else needs to get out of the bubble of this forum.

    Permanently, preferably.

Watch or listen to any analysis on Celtic games, ya fud. Pundits, journalists and fan media have been talking about Taylor. Have you been living under a * rock?

Do you speak to anyone? Anyone who I've spoken to agrees he will be up for POTY. He may not win it, but he's definitely part of the conversation.

To upgrade on Taylor, we'd have to spend a lot of money. That money would be better spent elsewhere unless Bernabei is to be moved on. The majority of fans thought he would be the one to be upgraded on in the starting xi in the summer just gone but he's shown it'll be a hard task.

Why are we trying to sell him to Guardiola?

    Fud.

Taylor is absolutely a POTY contender and if you can’t see it you don’t know football.

Prior to his injury he was in the running for POTY , Greg deserves every bit of praise/credit he gets as he was to be replaced but has stepped up his game so much so that Bernabei isn't getting a look in.

I love Taylor but think it's interesting that his pack passing stats - basically a measure of the passes that are played into progressive areas - aren't quite as high as Johnston recently, according to Alan Morrison. That's the kind of thing we really value in Taylor, but shows just how good and slightly under the radar AJ has been since arriving.

Every single Celtic fan I know ,outside of this forum, believes that Taylor has been a standout and in the running for POTY. You're actually the only one that I've heard disagreeing.

I love this guy. He read Hamish's book and is now applying the "never stop" principles to his relentless pursuit of bagging Taylor to anyone that will listen.

For the record I thought Taylor would get found out massively in Europe but he really surprised me with how well he played. Domestically he has been almost faultless. He will get done for pace occasionally but so do most fullbacks (there are always players faster than you) especially at the elite level. Ange's system can leave fullbacks a little exposed at times as well.

As far as the Maeda mainly staying on the left I think that is because Jota handles the switch better because he is technically a better player. Sometimes it is hard to figure out if Maeda is right or left footed because he can use both equally as badly.

He's also been discussed as potential POTY on every Celtic podcast I listen to.

But aye, it's just this weird forum.

And now GT isn't even good enough to be a contender for POTY ... * * your constant trolling is only making you look more and more clueless on any subject you gibber on about- from Football to politics you are clueless.

If you doubt all of Us maybe you'll listen to what an ex LB has to say... who wasn't bad himself.. (although id not be surprised to hear you didn't/don't rate him either tbh lol).
