Was unlucky with that curling effort from edge of box first half and should have scored with the header. Gets two goals, and his movement was unbelievable as per. So so effective and impactful.

 

Loved his wee face waiting for the whistle to go at the end. What a wee legend.

 

Love everything about Kyogo. His movement is unbelievable

His record vs them is looking a lot healthier now. He's just a killer in the box. Frustrates me at times because he probably should've had another 1 or 2 today but you can't fault his record. He's basically won us 2 cups on the bounce.

Hopefully he improves his finishing even more and can make an impact in Europe next year.

Said it before I think his movement is almost up there with Larsson, obviously not nearly as clinical a finisher but still, for the level we're at now financially compared to back then, I think that's what we're having to aim for as a team, players that are excellent in one area but not the greatest in others. That said, he's well on course for a 30+ goal season, that's more than good enough.

Maeda is probably a better example though, his workrate and pressing from the front is genuinely elite level, if his touch and finishing was more consistent he'd be well out of our price range.

But deployed right you end up with a team that just does its job and is greater than the sum of it's parts, proper moneyball squad building. Not to downplay the individual ability of our guys.

 

All of our player interpreters will have more winner medals than their hof right back by the end of the season lol

 

We have between 13 and 15 games left this season. He fails to score 30 I'll be shocked unless he gets injured. I think he will end up with a out 33. Overall he's scored 2 in every 3 games and he didn't start alot of them.
