Reo Hatate

Absolutely no contest for me.

 

I love Cal mate but come on. Hatate is next level. If we keep him beyond this season we'll be doing well.

It's not sacrilege to say someone's better than Cal mate.

 

I wouldn't say one is better than the other.. they are two exceptional talents playing at the top of their game the now... if ya had to gun to the head choose one you'd be hard pushed..

 

Not for me. Hatate right now could walk into any team midfield. That doesn't mean Cal can't but it's striking just now.

 

Can somebody get the lad a * green mouth guard though?

 

If Hatate's skill causes a European game or two next season to go our way, then he may be considered better than Callum. Our captain has had some fantastic European contributions.

 

I know it’s not but it’s McGregor for me, Hatate is class but McGregor is far and away the best player in the team, it’s not even close for me. He’s * unreal, he sets the standard.

 

Unreal yesterday. He has games when things don’t come off for him, but when they do, I think he is a our best player. Energy, vision, passing, goals. He is the complete all rounder.

 

Just keeps getting better and better each game. He is absolutely vital to the way we play and it’s so noticeable when he isn’t starting.

Best midfield signing since I can remember absolutely unreal talent.

Needs a new deal to tie him down.

 

He is the most gifted midfielder in the league. The only issue with him is his home and away performances tend to be quite different, not all the time but he’s definitely much more effective at home than some of the away games that tend to pass him by.

 

By a serious distance as well.

 

Likes the bigger pitch so he can play his natural game, but, he can get scrappy when he wants to. Does tend to fade in the away games at times though.

 

Callum’s my favourite player, but, Reo is pulling off things weekly you only see elite players doing now.

We’ll be extremely lucky to keep him past the summer now imo. Destined for the absolute top of the game.

 

A joy to watch yesterday. Hopefully he realises he still has a lot he can learn here and we get a couple more seasons out of him.

 

Think the biggest hurdle will be if the club receive an offer we simply can’t refuse. Can’t see any of the Asian boys looking for a quick exit to be honest, loyalty and work ethic are central to their core values.

 

Mooy had won numerous MoM awards of late and Hatate was having a quiet spell. People were saying Mooy was our best midfielder and it was true on form. Ange has already flagged a double pivot next year of Cal and Iwata in the CL, that leaves one spot.

On yesterday’s performance it’s Reo, but when Mooy is in form, there’s none better in our team holding onto the ball. It’s a great position to be in

 

I’m a bit taken aback to see you say that Mr Daleer! Callum is our best and most important midfielder. Reo may surpass him but I don’t see it yet.

 

Mate Hatate might be the best signing we've made in a long time. The guy is doing things with a football I've not seen for us for ages.

 

Yeah I was saying that about Mooy as well haha.

I don't know how we square it but Hatate, Mooy and Cal should be our three going forward.

 

Hatate is brilliant, have said before probably our most technically gifted, but as well as also been technically brilliant, Cal also is such a steadying influence when it's needed, and still very much the driving force in the middle for me.
