EPL 2022/2023

I enjoy the contrasting styles tbh. 99% of Serie A games I can’t go, too slow, too tactical, too sneakily dirty. Napoli have been incredible to watch this season though, as have AC Milan at times.

I think that's probably a fair reflection of the game. Feels like they've always just had that bit more about them tonight. Bad, bad night for Arsenal.

 

Haaland was always going to score, this second half he’s been cracking man.

We all know a team who would’ve been given that either in real time or definitively through VAR.

Arsenals passing in the final 3rd has been shocking, City far more efficient and ruthless.

 

They’ve used him properly tonight, something they’ve been guilty of not doing at times this season.

 

How * good has Gundogan been btw?

Didn't catch most of the first half but Arsenal have been terrible from what I've seen. So, so poor in the final third and defensively all over the place.

 

Always been a top player. Great all rounder.

See, I much prefer the slower build up, then the game comes to life in the respective final thirds.

Strangely enough, the Europa League knockouts tends to be my favourite competition to watch.

You get the contrasting styles of the different leagues, but with match ups that you don’t tend to see regularly.

 

Eddie Nketiah just isn't anywhere close to being good enough for this level of football.
