He's not an idiot that's going to yell from the rooftops that he's committed to us for the long term, just to push away potential offers or possibly receive an offer from a club that he couldn't turn down and look hypocritical. He's on a rolling contract and like he said, things can change quickly in football. Say our board suddenly stops backing him, should he stick around then?

I firmly believe if there continues to be an attractive project here, he will stay, unless a top club comes in for him. Which I think will happen after he achieves something special here over the next few seasons.

I wish he could stay forever, but I think he'll be here for next season at least.

 

Probably being paranoid but just his body language when he got asked about his future. Blinking more, shuffled on his feet and gestured with his hands. Hope I'm reading too much into it

 

Ange won’t be leaving anytime soon, as he clearly wants to have a proper crack at the champions league with Celtic. So I honestly think he’s going to be around for at least one more campaign after this years. And don’t be fooled, he also won’t be afraid to go to a PL struggler. Actually a project like that is enticing for him. But it won’t pry him away from Celtic before he’s achieved his goals here. I even think he’d struggle to leave for a Liverpool or similar if he hasn’t achieved his goals with Celtic. That’s why I really think he around for another season or 2 at least.

 

He's forever blinking and coughing in interviews, I wouldn't read too much into it.

 

I agree with others btw that Leeds don't offer a significant draw to Ange.

He likes a project where he can build a team. Leeds are already circling the drain, they're not the richest club going and they dropped their last manager like a hot sack of * after a relatively short poor run of games.

They're a team acting out of desperation to save themselves, he'll be looking for a side that are more financially secure and looking to build something and kick on. It's teams like Leicester and West Ham that are probably more of a threat to us, if they come knocking there's every chance he's away.

 

I doubt he will go but I Seriously think Southampton might ask the question with ange

 

I doubt he would leave now, but sadly I think he will leave after next season.

Feel like a * circulating what is an unsubstantiated claim from a Leeds forum but interesting non the less:

 

No chance he goes to Southampton. They’re down. Everyone knows it. He’s not leaving us for the championship.

 

Don’t care how ITK they * are, Tuchel and Pochettino are not signing with Leeds, even if they are in the Premiership.

 

think the important thing is ange seems to getting what he wants in terms of players, id find rumours more concerning had the likes of gg,juranovic been sold with nobody coming in

 

He'd be a idiot to leave before we have a decent European campaign under him..

 

Don't think he'd leave for Southampton or midway through the season if a West ham came in the summer I think he'd go

Don't really give a * who they appoint as long as it isn't Ange but this seems like a stinking appointment for them

The quick the appointments the likes of Leeds and Southampton make, the quicker we can forget about this.
