Lewis Morgan talks a load of *.

He was like a lost wee boy looking for his mammy at Hampden that day against the huns.

    * poor player as well. GG was the top goal scorer in the Eredivisie before he even came here and started banging them in as well, and that's a far superior league than the MLS.

Morgan's a bawbag. I'm disappointed the way things went with GG, if the focus was guaranteed football over the whole wages saga then I don't think anybody would bat an eyelid.

He's just been unlucky that Kyogo has been in such good form, I do think he was treated a bit unfairly in terms of game time by Ange. Kyogo is Ange's blue eyed boy, which is hard to argue with right now, but when he wasn't quite in form he was still getting picked ahead of Giakoumakis.

Remember a St Mirren fan telling me he was going to be outstanding at Celtic. So was quite excited to see him. Then after seeing him I wasn’t

    He’s right here though

There’s a certain arrogance from people when it comes to smaller leagues

I agree. I can't say I disagreed with what he said there. Seemed about right to me.

He may have a point.. but the point he's trying to make is hurt by the fact he's ripping it up in the MLS while he was absolute * for us.

Saw him a few times at St Mirren before he came to us and he was excellent tbf. Just didn't make the step up.

I have a bad feeling about losing GG.

If something happens to Kyogo now, like an injury or that then we're limited to playing Maeda in there, who misses too many chances to be main striker. Or this new guy Oh who we do not know what kinda form he will be in.

GG was too many goals a season to lose. But I suppose he didnt want to stay and a double your money profit margin for the club, you cant really argue with the maths. Im just concerned we'll miss his goals. And they were important goals some of them

    Agreed

Odd messenger though. He's a terrible footballer who is finding it comfortable in the US.

I'd start GG tomorrow against St Mirren, just keep him ticking over.

Giorgos Giakoumakis reckons he handled the responsibility of carrying the lofty number seven shirt at Celtic well - but the MLS proved too much of a challenge to turn down.

The striker had contract talks with the Premiership champions break down last year and Urawa Red Diamonds in Japan were thought to be in pole position to sign him up. Sampdoria of Serie A were also in the mix but Atlanta United came in to sign the Greek international officially this month, and he'll be their replacement for Josef Martinez, who has left the Mercedes Benz stadium for Inter Miami.

Henrik Larsson is regarded as the King of Kings at Parkhead and manager Ange Postecoglouhanded down the number seven shirt he wore to Giakoumakis, something which the 28-year-old was happy to handle. Now replacing a hero at another club, it's the kind of pressure he relishes, and a more competition across his new league is something he believes will help him find the net more often

When speaking of the great Swede at his Atlanta United unveiling, the forward explained: "He’s the legend of the legends. So I respect it, but at the same time I wanted that pressure, that motivation.

And I think I did well. I think this league [MLS] is a bit more competitive, they all try to play.

"So I think I will find even more space. Of course I feel pressure and I’m happy that I feel pressure, If I didn’t, I wouldn’t have a big motivation.

I like pressure, I work under pressure all the time. I'm hungry for goals, I think that's my fuel."

He's 100% correct. No issues with any of that. It's pitiful to watch the same "tactics" deployed against us every week, year after year.
