Love big Ange, and he definitely gets it. Seems to love it here, said in countless interviews hes exactly where he wants to be. I think we'll get 3 years out of him, bit hope to * for five at least.. He seems to have a lot of control of the club and relishing it. Hes building something special and it's a joy to watch

Now being polite by nature, I will walk you through this to look at the logic of what you say. Unless of course you are trying to take the * on this thread.

Dyche will not leave an EPL gig three weeks after being appointed to Everton, to go to Celtic. That would be rude and non-sensical. He is being paid better, knows his way around the EPL stadiums and the politics/media, and had a good run with Burnley until losing that position, so he is happy where he is with Everton, and most probably the Toffees with survive relegation. He is old school and will put the Everton squad to the test on the training field. Slackers will be shown the door.

Celtic would not pay his buy-out clause because the club does not spend cash like a drunken sailor, especially for a manager that is not on their radar.

Dyche would be the last person to go to Celtic because his football is totally opposite to the Celtic game of fast attacking football that has the fans up on their feet. He has a slower build up and plays a game based on a strong defence and counter-attack. His teams do not score many goals.

Did anyone in their right mind expect a Celtic squad of this calibre being developed in such a short time?

Not even us skips thought this would happen

On BBC Sport live text there's a question to Leeds supporters, "Would Postecoglou be a good choice?"

At the time of reading, 1233 thumbs up, 1833 thumbs down. THE FANS HAVE SPOKEN

He's obviously going to be shortlisted for any job down there.

He's not going anywhere yet. Pretty confident in that.

No trolling here, just the facts as I see them and present them.

Thanks for your answer and I respect your opinion, and I can see what you are getting at, but I don't necessarliy agree with your premise.

I know Sean Dyche would be a long shot considering he has just gone to Everton, and would be unlikely to uproot himself and his family so soon again, but remember there are precedents for it before, didn't the Mighty Beale not do exactly the same thing with Queens Park Rangers ?

I appreciate Dyche is old school and sets a team up to be strong defensively and use the counter attack, nothing wrong with that if it gets results, and it probably would more importantly in European games, where we have failed to make any significant impact for years.

Results bring success, and success brings trophies, and trophies make for happy fans and the bragging rights..

All good managers like Dyche are able to adapt their tactics and style to suit the environment, and I am sure if Dyche ever did get the opportunity to come here in the future, he would adjust his modus operandi accordingly to suit the circumstances.

Dyche is the longest-serving manager in the Premier League, not a bad feat for a manager of his background and age.

Mark Swartzer on Ange and Celtic,

“If Ange is ever going to leave the club it will be during an off-season, it will be done amicably, it will be done in the right manner, because that’s how he does business.”

how refreshing is that after the snakes moonlit flit

I see Neilson has won the manager of the month award. Bit strange after putting out a unexplainable team formation against the huns which ended up them getting beat 3-0 yet our manager has put out a team that hasn't dropped a single point in that time and scoring for fun while doing so. Maybe the skinny freak won it for aiding and abetting the huns?

Thinking about the Schwarzer comments, I still think those saying Ange would never leave mid-season should brace themselves - no guarantees like that in my opinion. He left Aus before the World Cup and left Yokohama mid season to come here. I think it's more about opportunity and timing. He wouldn't choose to leave mid season but I don't think it would necessarily be a deal breaker.

Anyway, hope it's not something we have to worry about for a long time.

Former Australia goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer is convinced Ange Postecoglou would not leave Celtic for Leeds if approached by the Elland Road club now.

The one-time Socceroos' head coach has been linked with the vacancy in Yorkshire as the Premier League club seek a replacement for Jesse Marsch.

Postecoglou sealed the Premiership title and League Cup in his first season in Scotland and his attack-minded side are nine points clear of Rangers in the league as well as pushing for success in both cups.

Former Middlesbrough and Fulham goalkeeper Schwarzer told Sky Sports on Wednesday: "I think Postecoglou would be an exceptional fit. But do I think he is going to leave Celtic and go to Leeds right now at this moment of time? I don't think so.

"Not that I have spoken to him - I am completely speculating here - but I don't think personally he would leave Celtic, if he were going to leave at all, at this particular moment in time.

"His relationship, his rapport with the club, with the fans is too important to him.

"Also I think the job he is doing at Celtic is phenomenal. If anything, it's a little bit underrated how good a job he is doing, considering where Celtic were and how far they were behind Rangers only two seasons ago and where they are right now, clearly the best side in Scotland.

"If Ange is ever going to leave the club it will be during an off-season, it will be done amicably, it will be done in the right manner, because that's how he does business."

Rayo Vallecano head coach Andoni Iraola and Feyenoord's Arne Slot have emerged as favourites for the Leeds job after another reported target, Carlos Corberan, signed a new contract with West Brom on Tuesday night.
