Will go down in our history as a great, even off of his contribution to date. If he left tomorrow he’d still be up there with the best strikers I’ve seen at Celtic.

People still bang on about di Canio and Cadete, who played for us for a season each, and entertained, but won * all.

The wee man has been one of the key factors in back to back titles.

Better still, he almost single handedly won our first piece of silverware under Ange against Hibs at Hampden which set the precedent for the league campaign.

Plus, he was the first signing that really signified change at the club from the previous disastrous reign. Everyone who seen him against Jablonec and Dundee when he got his hat trick knew instantly that he was a serious player.

I feel like his success ultimately helped the supporters believe in Ange from the get go. If he comes in and is a total dud, questions are being asked instantly of the managers’ judgment.

People calling to have GG starting ahead of him is just mental. I hope our support isn’t taking him for granted as he’s got attributes that are world class. He could easily go to Liverpool and do a better job than that big overrated diddy.

No way. EPL has a higher coefficient than SPFL. Haaland will be first. But Kyogo being second is possible if he smashes in a few braces and hattricks.

Haaland has fallen out with pep is the rumor doing the rounds if kyogo scores 35 he can clinch it but it’s a long shot because of the points system epl gets 2 points per goal whilst spfl is 1.5

Aye no chance. Even is Haaland never scored another goal this season which is extremely unlikely. You'd need the likes of Osimhen and Kane to stop scoring too

Also, only league goals are counted. Not sure how would standings look if domestic cups were counted.

Celtic assistant manager John Kennedy has praised forward Kyogo Furuhashi, calling him a "terrific player".

The Japan international has netted 22 times for the Hoops so far this season and is the current top goalscorer in the Scottish Premiership.

Kennedy has also detailed how the former Vissel Kobe man has adapted to life in Scotland and the Parkhead side's style of play.

He told Celtic TV: "He's a terrific player, we've seen that from the minute he walked through the door. We'd heard about him before he came and straight away he hit the ground running here and he's never looked back.

"Even in times when he's not been as fluid in front of goal and times when the goals have been flying in, his game doesn't change. That's the beauty of it. Sometimes what happens is strikers go out of form, they don't score in a couple of games and they go searching, they go looking for things.

"Kyogo sticks to the same plan all the time. First and foremost he does his job for the team, he presses really hard, he puts the defenders under a lot of pressure and he constantly gives us the out with his movement. He's terrific.

"The boys now know his game and that's the evolution of the team. As they play more with each other, they understand each other. They train with each other every day.

"They don't have to spend so much time thinking about things because they know what's going to happen, they know where he's going to be so they can put the ball into areas without looking half the time.

"Top player, top individual in terms of how he trains and as a professional, and he's getting his just rewards for it at the moment."

And the ex-Bhoys defender explained how the 28-year-old's work ethic is one of the many traits that has endeared him to the coaching staff and supporters.

"He's a very humble guy," he continued. "He appreciates what the fans offer the team and him himself. He takes a great lift from scoring in front of the crowd, you see he's straight over to the crowd at the end of the games.

"He's usually the one up front leading the party but he's not like that at all.

"He goes around the training ground, he's very quiet on the training pitch. He works ever so hard like the rest of them do and just gets on with his business but that's testament to the type of character he is."

Watched the St Johnstone highlights again. That ball over the top was better than I remembered it at the time then the effort and movement to get back up the pitch and cut through the defence with his movement...very difficult to play against when he's like that.

Where he'll rank in terms of Celtic strikers by the time his career finishes here, I don't know...but can see him being one of the most iconic strikers we've had in a long time. Kids absolutely love him aswell.

Would love him to spend his peak years or even finish his career here tbh.

He'll be spoke about for years. When were all granpas and our kids will be telling the grandkids all about kyogo just the way we talk about the days of Sutton, hartson and larsson.

He won't make it to the level of larsson and in my eyes nobody ever will. He is *. However for a kid he may just do it if he stays long enough, that's their hero. His names perfect for screaming when he scores aswel. KYOOOOGGOOOOOOAAALLL

    Epic.

If he leaves early however then he'll be spoke about for a few years like hooper. Then it'll die off.

I could honestly see him spending the next 4/5 years here. His game won't diminish much with age i don't think, especially given the longevity of most Japanese players.

He * loves it. At 28 are any huge clubs gonna take a chance on him? Probably not. I just think it could work out where he's the perfect fit for us and we're the perfect fit for him. I hope so.

Need to score much, much more clinically given the huge amount of chances he get. But he is not alone in that regard. As i said, i am confident he will.

I hope he meets a local girl he fancies, and marries her. That would help in increasing the chance he stays.
