The whole thing leaves a bad taste in the mouth, obviously bad blood there between Ange and GG. Not the sort of distraction we need in the middle of a season defining year. Could and should have all been avoided.

 

Funny that Juranovic had been the one taking pelters from the fans while they talked up GG like he was the second coming of Henk. Yet it was Jura who conducted himself with class through out and showed nothing but respect for our club and his teammates and actually is still showing his support on instagram.

I think I'm being a bit slow with this one, but assuming this is meant to be some sort of jokey envious dig at barely being in a starting XI?

 

Giakoumakis gave us a different option, but he simply wasn't a good enough footballer to replace Kyogo as our first-choice.

Pretty terrible the way folk talk about him.

Particularly given the adulation Moussa Dembele gets, despite pretty much doing exactly what Giakoumakis is doing - if not worse.

Thankful for the goals and performances in the big games.

But this year is kinda special, ain't it ?. We want to put the Mole back in his box.
But we get shot of GG mid season, a player feared by the Huns, and hope an untested player Oh can fill his boots, with four potential Hun games still to go, Cup Final and a league still to be won.

It's a very risky gamble in my books.
Only an Ange cultist I think would disagree.

Whatever way you want to package it, this issue has divided the Celtic support.
I know a lot of Celtic fans agree with me on this.
Some of the Celtic team probably don't agree with the way GG has been treated, and are maybe seeing Ange in a different
light for all you know.

Dembele when he left, left a sour taste, GG is doing the same and is probably half the player that Dembele is. Glad he’s going, I honestly don’t think we’ll miss him.

 

Beale is a no-mark, winning the league against him is no more or less special than gio. If anything I'd say last year was much more important and special than this one, they assumed we were down and they were in for a period of dominance but couldn't even defend the title once, that was well and truly putting them back in their box.

Didn't Ange CLEARLY state in his first season, regarding the events of the previous, that he'd zero time for players who want to be elsewhere?

Am I missing something?

I don't think Ange is annoyed in the slightest at GG, just emphasising that he's not an option anymore.

 

Is this on the back of Ange comments about not giving a * about it all?

I'm choosing not to read back through two days of posts on here, so I'm assuming it is regarding this.

If so, I'm with you fully.
Ange has said before he has zero time for folk who don't want to be here and part of the team he is building. He's not gonna rely on a guy who's 3/4 of the way out the door.

So why bother talking about him as an option - is where Ange is gonna be. In an absolutely zero disrespect manner to GG, just isn't any point to talking about a player that isn't an option any more.
