You do realise he has played football before he signed for Celtic?

Yes, and I refuse to believe a single person on here has watched any more than a solitary game of his or a YouTube video.

No one knows how he’ll turn out. He’s not proven. That’s my point - no one can say for sure that a backup striker isn’t needed.

No one knew how Kyogo and GG were gonne turn out either when they came in, same could be said for Hatate, Maeda, Abada. No quarentees.
I'm not gonne say OH will be the next Larsson, don't think anyone is to be fair, but from the few minutes we seen of him he has some good attributes that bode well for his future success at the club.
Who are you wanting as a back up striker?

You can never be SURE how a player will turn out. Juninho was a world cup winner, how did that go? He has seemingly well at a lower league position club, decent stats and I'm sure Ange has a strong success rate at signing players

His forte was as a one-touch finisher which he was mostly good at.

Oh seems a more versatile and mobile striker then GG.

It would be pretty incompetent to get rid of him at this late stage.

I think it would be crazy forcing him to stay. He seems to be desperate to leave, and keeping him would damage the dressing room.

Why ? He doesn't want to be here and has already been replaced.

He has been replaced by another player, whether his goals and assists have been replaced is another matter which we will find out in due course.
His scoring and assists per minutes played is phenomenal. I’d certainly keep him till the summer even if it meant giving him a sweetener of a hefty bonus after we win the league.

Mad @G40B giving young Oh the kiss of death. Not exactly the oracle when it comes to judging players, as shown with his Greg Taylor antics.

Watch Oh become our all time 3rd top scorer now over the next few year. The Oracle would no doubt still find an argument to make him out a dud.

I think we still need another striker in. Too late in the day probably but it's celtic so we will have a tried and failed story tomorrow. It's a traditional

Tradition has been well and truly broken, mate. We now proactively replace players who are set to leave.

Lol you are a contradictory roaster.

You judged a proven premier league player after 15 minutes of a preseason friendly, describing him as another McCarthy and people will be saying he needs more time in 6 months, and concerned that we were effectively replacing Rogic with another McCarthy. Yet you are now having a pop because some on here like to look at the positives of a new player.

The reality is, everyone forms an opinion on a player from the moment they start kicking a ball for Celtic. You always seem negative on new players, and seem to think we are making a mistake letting GG leave. I wonder why?

I think we needed another striker before Giakoumakis left so we are still 1 down.

Ange is most likely happy with 3 strikers at the club. Okay, he's using Maeda as a winger, but any striker rumors have died out, so, the 3 we have will suffice.

Both of those were far more established players.

This guy is a young 21 year old, who has apparently only began playing as a striker this year.

Up until the World Cup Mooy did look like another McCarthy. So not sure what you’re point is?

We also never signed him from the EPL.

    That’s my point.

For some reason people think I’m saying Oh will be a flop. I’m not.

I’m saying no one knows how he’ll turn out.
