Aye, that's no doubt a factor also.

Just disappointing that the figure is so low. Still a profit and wisely reinvested in Oh though.

But no sentiment here from Ange, we're moving on and players here are hungry to go. Depth overall is the best I can remember in recent history. We're in a very good place squad wise.

Atlanta United are now trying to hijack Urawa Red Diamonds deal for Giōrgos Giakoumakīs: understand new $4.7m proposal has been accepted by Celtic #transfers #MLS

Personal terms still under discussion but Atlanta have now DP spot and want to get it done.

    * money, no idea what we're doing selling guys like JJ and GG in their prime for buttons. Awful execution of what should be a foolproof business model.

Do get why players don’t stay. It’s a very poor standard of football in Scotland and it pishes down or is freezing about 7 months a year. We love Celtic but most professional players don’t feel the same love for a club like we do.

Right, but they're under contract for years. We can wait until the summer when there's teams with money actually looking. And if they want to leave, that is part of the issue also. Like GG could have had more game time, would probably be happier, and if he still wanted to go would have a better recent record behind him to boost any fee. Whatever way you spin it, it's low money for two standout players.

Hardly stand out JJ was pish all season only turned up for the World Cup as shown by him. GG wasn’t a standout either had his effectiveness in certain games but never stood out as undroppable or anything but of an over statement on both

Ange has been clear from day one. He doesn't want non committed players on his dressing room or training pitch. If you want to leave he won't stand in your way.

No guarantee a team comes in for him in the summer of we kept him either. Last time we done that we ended up with 3 or 4 players who didn't want to be here and it played a big part in us losing the 10.

Aye he has but I really don’t think GG has looked like he isn’t committed here, the safer bet is keeping him but it’s clearly Ange’s call as well and he has shown zero reason to not trust his judgment.

Makes me slightly uneasy but he’s not lead us wrong yet
