There’s no doubt GG had a couple of decent performances against the huns - but they’ve been massively overblown. To a ridiculous degree.

I found the (second hand) stats about the 3-0 game on KDS. Generally regarded as one of his better performances against them.

Apparently had 32 touches of the ball in that game and gave it away 15 times.

Two of the goals were fairly long range from Hatate and had absolutely nothing to to do with GG. He also played no part in Abada's goal.

I have eyes though and he did play quite well that night, however there is no getting away from the fact that nothing he done that night resulted in or contributed to, a goal.

Not bad terms on 19k a week, on a 5 yr contract. Could have had a great CL run and Euro Nations tournement and boosted his chances of getting a good transfer or an even better contract with Celtic going forward. His agent turned his head in the other direction.

Given what he was getting at his previous clubs, the Celtic terms were good.

We do need that distraction a big striker causes. Giakoumakis made sure opposing CB's could not help out other teammates, or react to late runs. It's vital we have this option, even if on the bench.

Oh is a strong lad, fearless and fast - he will fit the Celtic mould.

We do. We have just bought Oh. It's pretty much his game. The stats back that up. Big strong forward, not afraid to mix it up. Difference between GG and Oh is Oh seems to utilize the ball much better in possession.

Still remains to be seen if he can bring his talent in a Celtic shirt and I would love to hang onto GG until Summer just incase it doesn't work out for Oh. We can't stand in his way if he wants to leave though. Last time we done that it derailed a whole season and helped cost us the 10.

Because it's bollocks. Taylor is absolutely desperate to create a problem at our club.

It's * bizarre behaviour for a so called Tim.

@Taylor1 did you get banned from KDS or just get bored with it because you weren't getting the reaction you were hoping for?

Look at Giakoumakis, and then look at Viduka - not even close.

Have you always been this dull or did it take a lot of practice?

Look I like Giakoumakis, but what is it with fawning over players who have only been here 18 months and have done nothing beyond well?

You’d think these guys, and I’m putting Juranovic in this bracket as well, had been here for years winning trebles and bossing it in Europe.

We don’t look at the likes of Sutton and say “He was class in one or 2 games against the huns”.

The more i see about these low figures, there's gotta be something behind the rumour of low sell on fees. For recent history, we've made a decent whack of getting good fees. That's includes players in the final year of their contracts. This with a desire to move on,. Ange is probably decided take what we can get, and I'll invest it on players that do want to be here... I. E. Oh.

Age makes all the difference. When selling the likes of KT, Wanyama, VVD, etc, not only did they have enormous potential but they were young enough for a club from a richer league to take a punt and possibly make decent bank themselves from the elite tier should it work out. GG is what, 28? The price will reflect that.
