Used it as a mind game by the looks of it.

"One thing that has changed from Brown's playing days is that he is no longer bald. The shaved head was central to his hardman/pantomime villain persona while at Celtic, but he is sporting a less severe short back and sides these days.

"It's mid-life crisis number two!" he jokes. "My kids always wanted me to grow my hair and show I could. It sort of grew in a bit during Covid, but I went back playing for Celtic then went up to Aberdeen, so I shaved it off again.

"As soon as I finished playing, I was always going to grow my hair back for the kids and they get to see their dad with some hair and not being that aggressive guy that used to play a little while ago. That part of my life has come and gone."

Wonder if Hibs or the sheep will consider Broony..

Young, up and coming manager who's been at both clubs..

Had some good results with Fleetwood who are a tiny club in league 1 and in the cup. Think he's only just recently hit a stickier patch..

    He'd deffo take either job..

Hibs take him and it’ll be more * for them. Last 2 managers been better than broony (managerial wise) and failed. They need a smart appointment next

How was Maloney better than Brown, Hibs his only job and they were awful.

Broony is having a good cup run but the league form has been poor and think he will need another couple of transfer windows to get his squad in .

Maloneys coaching with Belgium instantly gives him the better experience/standing as a coach. But the other managers they’ve had on paper are much better managers, and by 2 I meant 3 including jack Ross haha

I genuinely believe he could do well in management.

Fleetwood is proving to be a great place to cut his teeth albeit the league form might be a bit patchy.

I've always held a belief he'd be a Celtic manager some day

I do like the fact he’s not taken the easy route in just taking a Scottish team. Those lower leagues down there are ruthless in turnover. Will help him develop loads as he’s basically only ever known success with us

Not as a manager but, coaching and management are two very different jobs

That’s wishful thinking at best man.

He’s got absolutely no right being a Celtic manager. As much right as Jackie McNamara or Henrik Larsson.

He's got a long way to go before even being considered for Celtic manager. It's hard to judge because of the team he manages as they have been pretty gash the past couple of seasons but have competed in play offs in recent years too so I would like him to manage at least in the Championship before he comes here and would want him doing well there too.

Maybe but every manager in the country would struggle to get Fleetwood much higher up..

They're probably a lower mid league 2 side level club..

They scraped staying in League One last year by the skin of their teeth. He's got them relatively safe at the minute, albeit the last few games they haven't performed. League safety would always have been Fleetwoods aims this year.

Wouldn't want Broony or Larsson near the Celtic job. Would hate to see supporters turn on them if it went * up. I say this as someone who can't stand Neil Lennon these days.

Broony needs to continue to earn his stripes. If he continues to do well enough for fleetwood, a bigger team who are pushing for promotion may feel like he could take them up a level. If he can continue to progress as a manager, I’m all for him coming back to the club as a manager in the future. He needs to be continually performing though.

every 28th game for Celtic someone handed Broonie a trophy. Can only hope Fleetwood give Broonie time, surprised he's not raided Celtics Colts team or that Celtic haven't sent youngsters to fleetwood for game time.
