    He's right. Would agree that Frimpong was much more "loved" by the support than Giakoumakis.

    Maybe I'm missing something but I wouldn't say Giakoumakis has a particularly close bond with the support at all.

    Samaras is the best Giorgios I’ve seen in a Celtic shirt. Hence why he’s a 100x as liked as GG.

    I wouldn’t be surprised to see Newcastle maybe come in with a bid for him. They just sold wood and GG is better than that big donkey. Might look at the price and think they can get a decent back up to Isak and Wilson for £5m

    Aye, he’s turned up at majorly important moments but that’s not the same as a bond with the fans. In five years Paddy McCourt didn’t do as much as him, massive bond with the support. Mostly one sided because I can’t remember an interview from him.

    The outright winner of bond with fans was Kieran Tierney btw, in those terms probably more than Larsson. Henke was * like, an idol, Tierney was a bhoy that was one of ours and played into it majorly, sentimentality, him with the Scottish Cup with a broke jaw and all.

    He’s nowhere near Larsson as a legend, but he had that bond more than anyone

    Quite comfortably.

    You’ve completely imagined this amazing bond between the support and Giakoumakis. It doesn’t exist outside of your head.

    He’s pretty well liked by most of the support and a few idiots think he’s our best striker and should be starting ahead of Kyogo. But most people appreciate him for what he is and not much beyond that.

    That was my point entirely. Nothing to do with talent ( I actually thought Frimpong flattered to deceive at times) but more how the support felt about both players.
