Last of Us (HBO)

Excited to get into this Pedro Pascal is amazing.

 

Watched this on Monday night. Soo much better than I expected so buzzing for the next ep

 

Absoloutely * loved it. Just like the game building up slowly. This is going to be epic.

 

I didn't play the game back in the day but bought it a few month ago. Never finished it though as I couldn't get into it really. Think am just being spoiled cos of how much better modern games are, like RDR2.

Is it worth going back to it would you say? Only got it because I seen a lot of you raving about it, but not sure if it's just a nostalgia thing?

 

Greatest story driven game of all time, for this bear. Never been as emotionally invested in a game.

Was a brilliantly tense episode. Museum was very well done.

What a great show this is going to be.....2nd Episode was excellent

Again well acted, stunning set pieces, Infected were scary.

Museum Scene was spot on

 

Aye 2nd episode was excellent, wasn't sure about Bella Ramsey as Ellie in the first episode but she convinced me in this one.

Loved Everything about this episode, from the horrifyingly foreboding beginning to the museum section which even called back to the gameplay of the game with ellie crouching behind joel following him, to the clickers which were just really well done all the way to the end which was changed slightly but just as hard hitting as the game.

 

Biggest Load of * i have ever seen, wow utter *!!!

Incredible episode. The clickers are terrifying.

Had high hopes for this but it’s surpassing them so far. The two lead actors are just perfect for their roles.

 

You could say this "clicking" along nicely.

Starting to think HBO were better off doing The Witcher as well

 

That scene in the first episode hit harder than the game, sheesh.

 

Oooof watched the first two episodes yesterday and i must say it was absolutely brilliant.

 

Seems like a dream come true seeing this realised. The wife loving it too.
The small changes have all been great but just one thing

Only bit i have had issue with.
why did Tess just accept the kiss? . Was she being partially controlled by the hive mind bits of infection in her? I noticed her hand spasmed a bit when trying to convince Joel to take Ellie.

 

First two episodes have been great.
Got a feeling its gonna get even better as the series progresses.

 

Never played the game but watched this cos of everyone and their dog watching it. Really liked the 1st episode with the origin and how it breaks out. Thought that was amazing up until it fast forwarded in time. Dunno if it’s just cos the “zombie” thing is so played out now. Just feels like it’s immediately into how the walking dead was for the last 5 seasons. People in camps and zombies just roaming about. Hope there’s a big twist to it unlike all other zombie stuff
