    The annoying thing about that late penalty shout is that instead of the actual football on show, all the media will push is that it's "solid proof VAR and the SFA isn't out to get Celtic and their paranoid fans"

    I think, because Hatate was originally in an offside position, it's to do with whether the touch from the defender was instinctive or whether he's in control of the touch. For example, if Taylor controls the block and then passes it to Hatate, that would be a goal. Because it was just an instinctive block he wasn't in control of, Hatate is deemed to be still offside as he's reacting to that particular phase of play.

    That's the way I took it anyway.

    You may well be right mate, i just assumed because it came off a killie player last it couldn't be offside, regardless of whether it was intentional or not, it's all very confusing tae me lol.
