Agreed. About as harsh as the great number of comments on Juranović after the Rangers game.

 

A long, long way to go but his progress has to be put into context. Such a young boy and a long way from home. A loan move in the summer would maybe be ideal. Don't think we have the cover to sanction one this month.

I don't feel he's a million miles away but definitely needs to be tidier on the ball. A loan would do him a power of good.

 

It wasn’t that bad. A few mistakes that definitely need to be cut out of his game, but as usual the bulk of the criticism is overboard. He needs to improve on the defensive side of the ball.

Maeda is *, Taylor is *, Giakoumakis is *, Starfelt is *, Kyogo is *, Abada is *… they’ve all been through it at some point.

He needs time to settle.

I like some of his attributes but against teams that will go after us a bit....he looks suspect..

A loan in our league would do him the world of good. He won't play loads for us anyway when Taylor's back and he needs the game time to adjust..

 

To loan him out we'd need another left back in for backup though. Taylor gets injured and currently our next choice after him is JJ who is probably off and it's not his position.

 

I'd rather let him play here, and tolerate his screw-ups. If we want to make the transfer work out for us, we have to give him game time. Yes, he was bad. So was Starfelt. We survived. Maybe we should switch CCV over to the left CB slot when Bernabei plays?

 

Sign another one then..

Loan Bernabei out for 6 months and see where he's at. Maybe even again next season..

Was thinking this aswell. I don't think he's going to be ready until next season at the earliest. And I will get roasted for this bit...but I think it's going to be a 50/50 whether he can adapt to the game here at all. Want him to prove me wrong though.

 

Wee man shat his pants on the day, and I take back my criticism of Ange for not starting him at ibrox. Clearly not ready for these big occasions, but he's only a young boy trying to settle in to a totally new environment on a different continent.

BUT....for all the * ups he made, there were some moments he done well, and he made it through the full 90 odd minutes which he will benefit from going forward.

Looking forward to seeing how he reacts midweek against St Mirren, that will give us a better idea of his mentality.

People need to chill out.. give the guy some time. If we are sending him out to another spl team on loan then we might as well admit defeat now with him and send him back to Argentina. Give him some time with a run in the team
