    Not every transfer is gonna be smooth sailing. It doesn't mean its down to Peter Lawwell being back, as much as some might want that.

    Giakoumakis' one was drawn out, Juranovic took a wee bit of time after failing with other targets. Impossible to predict.

    This seems like the player and his reps holding anything up.

    Transfers are a longer process than all of us are usually aware of, the warning signals for me is how publicly it’s playing out and some sound bites - it smacks of he’ll accept here if nothing better. However, that attitude not being in our team is one of Ange’s main priorities, so if he signs, then I’m not worried about it.

    Ange is concerned about attitude and the mentality in the squad more than anything.

    However, a move to England may be on the cards with 90 min claiming Leeds, Everton and Southampton have been offered the frontman. They also state Championship duo Burnley and West Brom have been contacted over a move.

    Three Premier League clubs have been offered the chance to sign South Korea striker Cho Gue-sung, 90min understands, with Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers already keen.

    Cho scored twice for his country at the World Cup, netting both South Korea goals in a 3-2 group stage defeat against Ghana. He featured in all four games in Qatar, starting three of them against Ghana, Portugal and Brazil as the country unexpectedly reached the last 16.



    The 24-year-old currently plays his club football in his homeland with Jeonbuk Hyundai, having recently turned out for Gimcheon Sangmu while serving his miliary service. Cho’s 17 K League 1 goals in 2022 made him the competition’s joint top scorer for the season.

    Upon returning to Jeonbuk later in the year, he also helped his parent club win the Korean FA Cup, scoring three times over two legs in the final that Jeonbuk won 5-3 on aggregate.

    Cho’s form for club and country hasn’t gone unnoticed internationally.




    In addition to Celtic and Rangers being keen to secure his services, 90minunderstands there has been some interest south of the border in England as well.

    Cho has been offered to Premier League trio Leeds, Everton and Southampton, as well as Championship duo Burnley and West Brom. The Clarets are currently top of the Championship table, while a January boost could help the Baggies push into the playoffs.

    So he dreams of playing in the EPL that much that his club have offered him to two clubs in the relegation zone, one club 2pts above it and two clubs in the * Championship. Haha. * me let's move on ffs.

    Leeds have just spunked £30m on someone from Germany who’s a striker. So they’re out.

    Doubt Everton and Southampton will even look at a player from South Korea to be honest. They’ll probably end up with some * on loan from another premier league club.
