He apparently has offers from three clubs (us, Mainz and Minnesota). Two of those clubs absolutely definitively want to (and importantly can) bring him in right now. The other club (us) might have to wait until summer.

Now couple that with the fact he’s publicly stated his admiration for how we’ve utilised the Asian market. Is there not actually an extremely strong argument that he is in fact desperate to come here and willing to knock back the other offers and wait until summer if that’s what is required?
