    When you actually look at what is happening with his club though. They seemed to want £2.2m. Then it was £2.5m. Then we bid £3m. Now someone has come in and bid £4.1m. Seems to be the selling club and the agent that’s the problem here, not us.

    I agree I think celtic are doing all they can to get the guy...I wouldn't want us paying much more than the 3 mill offered though

    Aye if he has such a hand and say in the transfer buisness surely he should get plaudits fir helping bring the other players in since last July. I'm not his biggest fan but its an easy cop out to constantly point the finger at him

    3 clubs we have tried to speak with

    1 - told us £825k (give or take) for the CM and haven’t returned a message or call

    1 - happy to accept £1.8m (give or take) but want player to remain there to summer

    1 - as said told us £2.5m then it’s went to £3m now it’s £4m Cho wants Europe but as @Leone Naka Fan am sure said the Korean culture is do what your told by the club what benefits the club not player

    time to walk away from all 3 and just block that market off too much time * wasted

    I heard the guy was already in the building and Lawwell came over in shorts n flip flops and said to him 'part of the deal is you need to feed me grapes in the jacuzzi and keep my champagne topped up'. Nicholson just facepalmed and said to the boy 'just ignore him bud, he thinks he's Hugh Heffner'.

    It's probably put the boy off slightly tbh.

    Surely the player still has some say?

    For the sake of his career the move to the US would be disastrous. He's at a crucial point.

    I'm not really arsed if we lose out on him now. I still think had he not scored twice at the world Cup people would be less excited by this going off of his footage and goal record in the top Korean division.

    Tbh he's well within his rights to weight up his options, as frustrating as it is for us. But if Ange has his heart set on him then it's just something we need to deal with.

    Personally I'd prefer Tengstedt but Ange is the man so we just go with it.

    @Mr Shelby agree with this. I think the most exciting part about this signing other than the fact he's probably the biggest star in South Korea at the moment, which would be massive commercially for us, is that he would obviously thrive within our system.

    The amount of balls we put into the box without any end product is unreal. His two goals against Ghana alone show how we could utilise him in our system. Like GG but more dynamic.

    Scottish journalist Alan Nixon is saying that Rangers are trying to sign him now. Not sure how credible he is, regularly peddles transfer rumours. I cant see it personally unless they are sure they can move Morelos on. Colak has done well for them when he has played also, so cant see them having another striker
