larsson is uncompareable except with our clubs true legends perhaps.

macdonalds had one good season....... he's still got a lot to do to be even be polishing henriks boots.

But from what i've seen of him so far (only 1 competitive game; I know) he looks like a 1 season wonder

 

agreed.. there will never be a 'next Larsson', Just like the way Larsson wasn't the 'next Daglish', he was Larsson... and so on..

But I don't see why he can't keep his levels or performance and his goal-scoring record up for us and hopefully get over a hundred goals for Celtic...

Skippy does not have as much natural talent as Henke. He is a good goalscorer and will score goals anywhere but to compare him to Larsson is not right. If he becomes a Celtic legend it will be on his own scoring record, I don't think he's half the player Henrik was.

 

Don't think he's anywhere near in the same league as Larsson but at the same time isn't a 1 season wonder

Mcdonald is a good player no doubt about that, but i dont think he will ever be as good as henrik.

he's no ''one year wonder'', he's a good player and will bag us alot of goals.

However, he's no ''celtic legend'' in the same frame that Larrson was... and frankly never will be. I always see the question 'will there be another Larsson'... short and sweet of it is that there won't!! there cant be!

 

I think he'll have a good year but not as good as last, he won't be the new Larrson, he'll be the first McDonald.

mcdonalds got potential to do well in the SPL at the top level he will be important for us but he won't run a mock season after season, score countless important goals, then come on and win the champions league for barcalona coz lets face henke came on and turned the style and turned the game around for barca and through it all stayed completely level headed and be a geunine true gentleman and sportsman.
