Rangers are battling Celtic for South Korea World Cup striker Gue-Sung Cho.

The Glasgow giants are going head to head for the hit man who plays for Jeonbuk Hyundai and is available in a deal worth around £3 million.

Cho is keen to come to the UK and the two Scottish clubs lead the race although insiders believe Rangers are currently trying harder.

Cho is a huge star in the social media world too and would be a massive commercial capture as well as a very useful forward on the pitch.

Rangers boss Michael Beale is talking to three players and keen to restructure after joining the club and Cho would be a major asset.

If I were a player I'd be doing my due diligence on any club, especially a club with more controversial news stories in the last 10 years alone. Transfers can make or break a player, going to the filth definitely breaks more than it makes

I honestly can't see the appeal playing for a team that are statistically the worst team in CL history, are sitting 9pts behind the best team in Scotland and have only won 2 trophies in their 10 year history.
