Sounds bitter. If a player is better than one we currently have ill take him. That's how we build and improve. Ofcourse you can pretend taylors better than Tierney all you want but that's a lie.

I don't care if you think it sounds bitter. A team doesn't improve by looking backwards 3 years. Shelling out tens of millions for a player we grew and developed is piece of nonsense. All parties involved need to look forward not back.

Was hoping they win the league anyway tbh. Even more reason to cheer them on now!

We absolutely sold him at the right time when you look at his injuries since leaving us. It’s actually worked out well that he couldn’t leave quick enough.

Imagine arsenal have done deals like that for every player.

“Arsenal delighted to unexpectedly win the Premier League for the first time in 18 years, and will now fold as the company is no longer viable.”

Good luck to him, his career has been blighted with injuries at Arsenal, hopefully he gets a couple of injury free seasons to let the world see how good he is as hopefully help Scotland qualify for some major tournaments.

I think you’d have to be crazy not to on a free. He’s still a top class player. But he needs a long spell of recuperation. We (Rodgers and Lennon both, not forgetting the board and their incredible lack of investment in any depth) ruined him.

It’s a tough one for me.

Only 26 in the summer and clearly a quality player.

It’s just those injuries though. If they’ve got the better of him then I wouldn’t go for it.

I would defer to the experts to determine whether he can get over them.

He's already proved his evil, money, he's hardly going to come for pennies, so * dat.

Unless he wants to play for free then fair dos, he's a big Tim anyway and will have made all his dough............

    You've not got a clue !

if he stayed here and was constantly injured the fans would have turned on him quick enough.
It's a short career (shorter for him) and fans are as quick to turn as players are to leave.
It was a good deal for both him personally and the club.
As previous posters have said Rodgers ran him into the ground, forcing players to take injections to play through injuries.

He won't be back here as anything other than a fan until about 35, at which point he's probably retired and possibly going into coaching.

However under a system like Ange's I would hypothetically have him back 100% without a doubt

Can’t remove wages from all this speculation

Salary sport is a pretty good website in regard predicted wages

KT supposedly on £110k a week
    In comparison
    Calmac is on £32k

Hope arsenal win the league this year, obvs for KT but there’s a few players that deserve it there. Arteta is a total bam though, not even for his time there. Some of the stuff he does on that arsenal doc turned my skin inside out
