Need to take into account the game it was too, if that had been home to Ross county I’ve got no doubt it would have been Bernabei coming on, however still relatively fresh from a shocker at Tynecastle I can see why Ange went with experience, although it backfired badly there’s nothing to say Bernabei would have come on and coped better.

It’s now up to Bernabei to get his head down, take his chance that’s going to come and show why Ange * up by not subbing him on yesterday.

Upon reflection, I am actually quite annoyed that Ange never put him on when Taylor got injured.

I understand that people may say that hindsight is a wonderful thing, if JJ came on and played well, we win the game then nobody bats an eyelid, fair enough.

There's two issues I have with him bringing on Juranovic. First of all he's been sorta frozen out of the team, there's also been intense speculation that he is leaving. We then sign a new RB, which is another big indicator that one is leaving, as having 3 RBs battling it out is probably unrealistic.

We've seen it before with want away players, if they aren't focused 100% of if their head is turned at all, get them to *.

Secondly, and my main issue with Ange not subbing on Bernebei, is why the * is he on the bench? See as a fan when I see a bench, I see guys who should be ready, mentally, physically and emotionally to come on and do a job.

If the manager has deemed anybody not to be right to sub on, "wanting to protect players from the big bad ibrox atmosphere" as some fans have suggested, then why put the guy on the bench. Every guy in the starting 11 can potentially get injured during the 90 minutes, so Ange has to have an answer for each and every guy going off, who would he have on for that player type thing.

Bernebei shouldn't have been on the bench in my opinion. If Ange knew that Taylor going off means Juranovic an out of favour, want away right back, coming in at left back when a 4 million pound left back is sat on his * on the bench?

Does my * in when a perfectly good player (according to the bench) is there waiting to fill in for his actual position and we don't use him. I don't want * on the bench just for a laugh.

How has Jura been frozen out btw? Been at a world cup that he got injured at and was on the bench the game before, then flung in yesterday. He’s chomping at the bit to leave but we haven’t froze him out. Ange trusts him clearly.

 

Have I missed something? The last time Barnabei played he was putting in decent performances but suddenly Ange would rather play a disinterested Juranovic with his over inflated ego out of position at LB than Bernabei who is indeed a LB. Very strange and apart from playing a very rusty Jamesy Forrest this was another mistake made by Ange - Juranovic was * HORRIFIC against sevco and made Sakala look like Kylian Mbappe. Absolutely embarrassing stuff from 'Jura' and the sooner we get get some English club with more money than sense that is mad enough to pay around £15 million for Juranovic the better.

 

That performance has probably chopped a good few mill of the price

Bernebie should have played or why have him on bench, £4m player can't get on to replace injured teammate in his own position.
The Forrest one is baffling aswell not many of us would have started him.

He's played 3 games since October. 3 starts out of about 17 games or so.

Hence why I said sorta frozen out,

We go out and sign a 3 million pound International right back as well, while the international tournament is still on. Some folk probably thought Ange and co would wait until Juranovic is back from the world cup and sit down with him and get it straightened out what he was doing future wise.

As I said, my Juranovic point wasn't even my main issue, it's the fact that we've went out and signed a left back for 4 million bangers and he's actually really improved even in the short time he's been here.

Ange also put him on the bench, as a back up left back. But Ange deems an unfit, out of position, guy who wants away to be ahead in the pecking order than Bernebei.

I think the guy is * brilliant, he's done a phenomenal job and he very rarely gets any criticism, but yesterday he made a total * of it.

We are very lucky that it was a draw and all it did was basically get us one game closer to winning the league in a sense. Everything remains the same, but the huns have less games to claw it back.

Frozen out is probably the wrong terminology in fairness. I think I just have nightmares from the Lennon covid * disaster.

The minute a player no longer fancies us as his club, then I want him out the door.

 

So does Ange tbh, if they’re not commited. Which makes me think Ange trusting him yeaterday is more down to Ange having a serious misjudgement of how fit he was, he said before the game he wasn’t fit enough to start.

 

Looking forward to seeing him getting a run in the team. Think there’s bags of potential.

In his odd fleeting minutes he's been given there is signs of a good player who at the very least is equal to Taylor.

To see him get a run of 4 or maybe 5 games in the 11 would be interesting to see if he can kick on and give Taylor a real problem in getting back into the 11

 

Could be a good opportunity for him on Saturday if Ange gives him the nod. He's shown glimpses but I can understand why Ange wasn't sure about playing him the other day. Think this is more like a game where we can look at starting him.

 

Don't know why , just think he seems a bit hot headed and those arseholes would've been constantly trying to get him too bite
