A disciplined back 4 can handle one short striker by denying him space. But when there's 2 strikers and one's big, it gets complicated. That saved us today, but we should really practice using this formation. The inverted FB habit means we're not so exposed in midfield. It's just a matter of getting in deliveries to the box.

Maeda is our 3. striker, if need be. If GG wants to stay, I accept that. He deserves starts, TBH. His bulk is a value in itself. If he's dead set on leaving, I can only hope Nicholson is getting Gyu-seong Jo's club to yield.

 

Maeda is only good up top if its an open game though. I’d like to see us get Cho in and try to get a new deal sorted for GG, his presence was key for the equaliser and it was key in 4-0 game.

 

I get you, but Ange prefers having more pace up front, so I can't see us having 2 tall strikers. Having at least one is a must. 3 Rangers players were locked onto GG at the equalizer, leaving Kyogo alone.

GG is who I would opt for in these games. Mobility provided by Jota and Abada. Scrap, bullying and finishing by GG.

 

He wasn't great but had Jota been on to give him service then maybe he does more. Forrest and O'Riley gave him nothing today

Canny wait to see Kyogo destroy them at Celtic Park. Didn't play well and still got his goal.

 

Took his goal well, made sure his movement allowed him to be in the right place.

 

He done next to * all most of the game until the goal.

Thing is that’s what stikers need to do the most put the ball in the net.

Want him to put in a Real performance against them * in the next game.

 

He struggled to get in the game but he put a shift in coming back the way when we were struggling. He was too isolated up top and aside that one he misjudged the service he got was shocking.

For Kyogo to be effective we need to play for higher up the park as a unit or get CBs who can actually do more on the ball than basic short passing.

 

He was * pish again. Grateful for the goal but it's the only moment he's ever had against these *. Annoying as *.

 

He done * all to merit playing the full game, glad he was there for his goal tho but in all honesty I was shouting for him to be replaced alot earlier in the game.

 

Exact same, he was * howling.

 

If you’re going to have one moment in the game, do it like that.

 

Late goal with Kyogo scoring it would have utterly sickened them which makes the goal even sweeter
