I think you are wrong on this, if a player stands on another, is it not a foul to the player who has been stood on?

I'm not even bothered about starfelts penalty. Ref gave it in time and var showed starfelt got underneath the other guys foot and slightly tickled his studs.

I have a problem with a 2 handed goal save not being given as a penalty. Blatant.

I can see why Beaton gives it initially, real time watching the game I thought it was a pen, but after watching replays, which is what VAR is for, then for me that is no way a pen.
Goldsons in real time to me didn’t look a pen and I would be fuming if it was given against us, but again, watching it through VAR then that is given 100%
The problem for me is why wasn’t VAR used, both decisions were contentious, why no immediate replays, why have we seen our games stopped to in excess of 5 mins for a hand ball which genuinely cannot be helped , but not even looked at today.
Even in the champions league we were penalised by a hand ball that our player could do * all about.
But in Scottish football, the biggest game in the league can’t be judged by VAR, even though every other game we play is absolutely scrutinised to the extent of wasting 4 to 5 mins of gameplay only for the result to go against us

Definitely the bigger question, will it be asked?

Starfelt, for a guy his age plays like a * 18 year old, his decision making is so bad sometimes, blows my mind he's an experienced international player.

No need to go the ground against the heedless chicken.

We should have had a penalty. But with that orange * officiating we can expect * all.

Starfelt’s momentum caught his foot, which caused his leg to drift to the right and brought him down.

If that’s what happened then aye not a foul. Starfelt slid in and impeded him.

As said above though, our penalty not given or even looked at is much worse.

Starfelt's decision to slid in was stupid. It might not be the most stonewall pen (we wouldn't have got it) but it's not an outrage.

What is an outrage though is the decision to not look at Goldson's blatant handball.

Agreed on the penalty not given for us as that was more a pen than the one they got

The Goldson handball penalty decision was a disgrace and blatant hunnery from the officials.

Agreed on you can see why beathun gave their pen in real time, but if VAR was used properly he'd have had a look at it. Still saying it's 100% not a pen when looked at. Starfelt was stupid sliding in, but no contact until Sakala puts his foot down onto Starfelt. No pen.

Can also guarantee that had Kyogo not equalised, 7 mins wouldn't have been added lol.

So what's VAR asked here, do you want to look at that?
Still can't get the rules right

VARis used in every game in the Scottish prem atm, but the biggest game in the league they don’t, that’s the what we should be looking at
