Find it unlikely if we were in talks we'd want the agent announcing it.

For me this looks more like agent using our name to try and get Rennes to make their move

 

Genuinely feel he turns out to be a massive signing for us if it comes off.

 

Seems strange the agent coming out with this. Don't want to get too excited. Maybe the culture is a bit different in Korea? I'd immediately think this was nefarious agent tactics over here.

That last bit hasn't appeared anywhere. I can only hope this is the case. Anyhow, we have to pay his club enough, first.

Apparently we’ve made an offer but it doesn’t meet their valuation.

£4M is the ceiling I'd be OK with, but up to that amount, we shouldn't be complicating matters needlessly. I do wonder if we're waiting until/if Giakoumakis actually becomes the target of a bid?
