I don't buy all this 'with this squad' nonsense that the huns are spouting when defending Beale's chances.

You've had Tillman come out saying they're the best team in the country, Beale has been constantly bumming them up and this team got to the Europa League final and won the league the other year. We've been told that they don't become a bad team overnight, conveniently forgetting that you don't become a good team over night.

It's the same set of players minus Aribo and Bassey. We've been told they have bad injuries though. Hagi, Souttar, Helander and Roofe are probably the only ones missing. None would get into the starting line up.

I've yet to see them overrun a team since Beale came in. Struggled against Hibs, a get out of jail card played against Aberdeen, scraped a win against County. Only one with real conviction was against Motherwell who sacrificed a two goal lead against Killie the game before and haven't beaten the huns in about 2 and a half decades.

They have no excuses except they're * dross and it flatters them that they are only 9 points behind.

 

Getting nervous for this now, not as confident as some that we will go there and beat them convincingly. All to often we have been the better and inform team to go to Ipox but not turn up. But we have to be realistic, this is their Cup Final today as far as the league goes, at home with their biggoted crowd and the media wanting nothing less than a Hun win.They will come out at us, high line, full of energy hoping to score early and give themselves something to hold on to but they wont be able to match our energy for 90 minutes so we need to whether the storm. The game could be won or lost in the first 20 minutes.

In a week where a number of important figures have sadly passed away, we will also remember Celtic great, Frank McGarvey, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI and footballing legend Pele, as the Celtic first-team will wear black armbands as a mark of respect and tribute.

Just get these mutants pumped. You just know there is going to be shenanigans going on with Beaton and VAR though. Seen folk saying they think the huns will come out all guns blazing. I’m not sure, I think Beale might get them to sit in. If they do come out and try and attack us, there will be acres of space for us. Score in the first half hour and we run riot in my opinion.

 

Hopefully their scum fans don’t throw broken glass on to the pitch this time.
