Would normally be against starting Maeda in any game, but after last night I think he starts this one. If he keeps the basic mistakes to a bare minimum he will be vital for us.

Same with Kyogo. Always in favour of starting GG in this fixture but he has been poor recently and Kyogo is getting back to his best.

The midfield 3 is the bigger problem. As erratic as O'Riley's form has been, he's still a very clever player who can spot things most others can't. Between him, Hatate and Mooy, I reckon Mooy misses out, as unfair as that seems after his performance last night.

    I think we'll go:

    Hart
    Juranovic
    CCV
    Starfelt
    Taylor
    McGregor
    Hatate
    O'Riley
    Jota
    Kyogo
    Maeda

Then we come to the subs bench, which is unbelievably strong and could be the difference in getting a win or not. Biggest threat is obviously VAR and the officials, we get a fair crack at it and play well, we are strolling it easy. Callum McGregor will make sure of it.

I can see where you're coming from but the thought of Kyogo running them to exhaustion with Giakoumakis coming on later on, is what I think Ange will go for.

    * HATE when ppl start predicting whopper ng scorelines against this mob.

Remember the conditions FFS. Beaton, Ipox, no fans, mason VAR.
We may be * annihilating them on paper, but the reality is it's our 11 against their 15/16.

Will be a challenge as usual.

If we turn up we will win.

I can see Rangers making it a dirty game trying to stop us playing.

We've got too much legs for them to cope with us.

We're too fit, too fast, too organised. They're *, and we will show everybody how * we are when we pump them at Ibrokes.

I hope they come at us and have a go btw, I can see it being 3-0 before half time.

I do it everytime. Funnily enough I even had a dream last night that we where 6-1 up and crusing it and I was * disgusted because I didn't do my bet I always do against them which is 7-1 :lager:

Although this morning, doubt is starting to set in because we now are up against 15/16. All it takes is a few dodgey desisions, a sending off or even a few heavy tackles from them * which could change the whole game in their favor. We've seen it in previous seasons where we've been riding high only to be brought down a peg or two when the team got complacent! I'm abit like a man with a split personality when it comes to these games. I could be in the clouds one min thinking were going to slaughter them then few hours later thinking the worst.

Still think we've enough thou to do them.

Reverse the order. They will attack in the air, and we'll have to defend a few corners. Once their charge falters, Kyogo will find space.

Jura back in at right back with Hatate moving into midfield for O’Reilly from the starting eleven last night. We play to even close to our potential and we will have too much for these mutants. Well, we should do, but the farcical referee and VAR decisions might be a leveller.

Lot of confidence among our support. Understandable of course. We are the better team imo. We have the better squad imo. We have the better manager imo.
Let's not forget the refs though, and Beaton in particilar, and the influence they can have on the game. The saying that if you're good enough the ref doesn't matter is horseshit. All it takes is one contentious decision and it can have a domino effect. A bad call and one our players is raging and gets a red for reacting in some way or picks up a second yellow. I'm sure it was Beaton who way back gave Boyata a second yellow for dissent. Maybe at Perth, I can't remember where.

I think it will be more difficult than most people are predicting. We played a lot better as the game went on last night but I still don't think we've been at our best, some really sloppy play early on. On another day if we're unlucky we easily could have conceded at least one early on last night. I'm glad Ange won't be taking anything for granted. I'm confident but will be avoiding any of the kind of chat I've seen on here. They'll come out aggressive and fast and we need the just take control.

Ofc i am a little bit worried about the refs but i dont think it be as bad as most predict. There is not many games on that day, and the world will be watching. The refs will obviously continue to help them in the games against the dross in the league, but im not so sure that they dare to in this game in all honesty.

There has been to much obvious cheating with VAR against us in recent months so they might be careful in this one. I remember once when the linesman celebrated and hysterically waved his flag to send Benkovic(?) off though. That one had me raging hard and it was so * obvious

There isn't anything to suggest Ange will do that. Can't remember the last time Giakoumakis started a match.

I know, but it's the sensible thing to do. We do need extra height at set pieces, at least defensively.

Watched their highlights where van been ran through they are criminally slow at the back any kind of space and we're in can see them sitting in and hitting on the break giving us majority of the ball

Hope we either smash them or win in the 96th minute, after there was only 5 minutes of added on time, with a VAR handball penalty decision. The * would go into meltdown

I have never been confident before playing the huns - no matter how good we are playing or how bad they are playing. Too many factors come into play when we play them - such as the cheating officials who, no doubt, will be well aware that Monday's game will be a pivotal moment in the league and will therefore do everything in their power to try to ensure a hun victory. The situation (as we have all seen by now) will not be helped by those in charge of VAR who will scrutinise any incident which will look to penalise us and to help the huns. Our greatest manager of all time was well aware of the the corruption in our game and told his players that they would have to beat 12 men on the park but, even he would be shocked at what Celtic teams are up against now - especially with the introduction of VAR.
