Meanwhile, Postecoglou has also dismissed concerns about a possible transfer for striker Giorgos Giakoumakis, who has been linked with a lucrative switch to Saudi Arabia.

“What I deal with is what I see every day,” he said.

“He’s here, he’s training well, he’s contributing and I’m not really sure of anything beyond that. It’s not really on my radar.”

 

Honestly dont see the point in selling him in Jan (assuming all the paper * is true) unless he is hugely aggravating for a move. He doesnt seem that type of person though. I reckon Ange is very forthright with the players & wouldn't shirk a conversation whereby he commits to letting them go in the summer if it suits us.
I also cant see us getting such a huge offer for him that we would be too tompted. Im sure it would be a great ROI on his buy price, but not enough to risk the rest of the campiagn on. Kyogo is great but taking GG out leaves us vulnerable up front when there is only 1/2 season let to win. Risk versus reward doesnt weigh up.

 

First couple of touches were Sunday league stuff. One of them was in to him just outside the box and he * it spectacularly..

His second was even worse, they went on the attack and the crowd went mental..

Nice wee chest and slip after that though but he needs to brush up at times man. First touch can be so erratic..

 

He was pish, don't get me wrong, but I really hope we start him up top in one of the next 2 games. Hard to drop Kyogo after he scored, but you could also make argument that we'd want to save Kyogo for Easter Road the following game.

Unfair to expect him to cone on late in games and be sharp as a tack. He ain't getting the minutes pure and simple, and it has * him mentally into the bargain.

 

Thought he was gash when he came on. He was more use to them defensively, got in the way twice when Mooy was going to pull the trigger.

 

Aye forgot it was him that got right in the way in the box..

He's been brought on the last few games near the end, if he was starting every game I bet you he's looking way better, remember what he did when Kyogo was injured.

 

Played a nice ball out to the wing and carried on his run to the penalty spot but instead of our winger flighting it in for gg to header he stopped, turned round and passed it back, wats the * point.

 

All the signs point to him heading out the door in Jan coming on in the 80th minute and his body language warming up tonight was off. Dont think the big fella really wants to leave tbh but money talks.

You do get the impression he might be away soon now..
