It was definitely onside by the rules... look at these ones

Crazy how when we're winning 2-1 we start getting nervy because the referee could rob us at any moment.

When the huns are losing 2-1 it's their opponents getting nervy knowing that the referee will be looking to level it up.

Didn't Jota score a goal at Dens where he was off but the guy played the ball and it came back out and he put it away?

 

Cause the * never gave a foul, he must have been raging when we scored. He didn't wave play on or anything he just wasn't going to give a foul.

 

This is the big one from last year that everyone and their dug would have been thinking about when they took their time to fine comb a reason not to give ours tonight. This was massive at the time, big big talking point. You can't tell me the sfa and their refs aren't clued up on that - considering they take everything they know from the English media anyway.

They got it wrong, after taking 4 minutes to watch VaR.

They need to answer for that nonsense.

Can't mind but i've seen a good handful of these goals since VAR came in, the rule is if a guy tries to play the ball the goal always stands because he basically stopped the guy from being offside by intercepting the ball and making an * of it.

It's only if a ball deflects off a guy whos not really moved then it still counts as offside, im sure Benzema scored in the CL final against Liverpool and they disallowed it as he was only onside because it deflected off a guy who was on the ground but the guy wasn't deliberatley playing the ball.

 

If that's still the rule then as mentioned, why are they no called out?

Turnbull doesn't see Abada so its no intended, then the livi player touches the ball without being impeded. Doesn't matter if Abada is 1 inch offside or 5 yards, as soon as the defender made willing contact its then game on.
This needs called out.

 

It's incredible they keep getting away with it. If that was the huns it would be the major talking point in the press for days and the refs would be demoted. But we all know this won't even be mentioned.

 

Regardless if these following decisions are correct by the law or not the following decisions go against us 100%.

1) Handball first half.

2) Abada goal.

3) Haksa being taken out late after he shot. That challenge surely isn’t much different than the 2 pens we conceded at Tynecastle?

 

Taylor I think number 3 was unless it happened twice. I agree would have been a penalty against us, happened to Hatate earlier in the season also, maybe the first game.

 

Nah he does mean haksa, I did think there was contact on him as he was shooting, Taylor one wasn't a pk for me.

The Abada one I give up with the rules. I don't know what offside is anymore. That was always offside, then the rule change meant it was on as the defender played the ball and Abada became active in the second phase....but apparently it's offside again..

Should've just stayed offside as it's a * rule anyway but no surprise it's one that goes against us..

 

True, but if the refs were being consistent we SHOULD have had a penalty
