Might come as a shock mate but most us of * love football, in fact for a lot of us it'll be maybe the most important thing in our lives after family, and to watch maybe the greatest footballer to have ever played the game win the biggest trophy on earth at the age of 35 after dragging his team to the final, aye it makes us all a wee bit sentimental.

    You're one miserable * *.

Also E. Martinez and R. De Paul turned out to be utter bawbags.

Didn’t say anything. Just filming himself with an Argentina top on, a cigar and medal round his neck in the changing room.

Just let the boys have their moment.

Knew De Paul was, Paredes is the biggest * mind you.

Messi is the only likeable guy in the squad.

I felt this as well. Lack of atmosphere too. At half time during the final, there were tons of empty seats which stayed empty until about 50 minutes. Basically loads of non football folk arsing around in the back getting drinks etc. not so bothered with the final.

Nope, he's been an * too. Stamped on a Mexican shirt (and hasn't been an exemplary model of behavior before the tournament either). TBH, Di Maria seemed the most humane, but I'm not sure.

Unsportsmanlike. It's not like Mexicans hacked them to pieces during the game. If we're going by color scheme, I know who Argentinians remind me of, slightly.

Spat at opposition players while at Barcelona, bullied his own teammates(at Barca and PSG- including a row with L. Paredes), demanded a certain Jurge Sampaoli be installed as Argentina manager...

Wasn’t aware of him spitting at a home. But having a row with Paredes on the pitch hardly makes him a bad person. 2 South American’s haven’t a argument in a big stakes game is hardly surprising. They are known for being mouthy.

They were teammates. At the NT level. Yes, they have apparently mended fences, but imagine McGregor flipping out at Robertson so bad he'd want to kill him? I can't, because Callum is a normal person. Okay, Paredes is a *, but Messi is a mini Palpatine.
Also, professing loyalty to Barcelona umpteen times, only to get grabby and go to PSG for money. I'd respect Messi way more if he stuck to his words. Barcelona made him, paid for his growth hormone treatments etc.
