Kyogo Furuhashi

Statistically it hasn’t, it’s pretty much identical to last season. However, I feel it’s the important ones he’s missing now. Last season he’d do it at 2/3 nil up. But if we needed that opening goal or that winner he’d be there and clinical with it. This season not so much.

 

GG has to start against Livingston for me. Wee man has not been at the races this year.

 

GG and Kyogo have both been *. Was the main reason we failed in Europe this year was them 2 * plus maeda missing 5 sitters a game each.

But yeah pretty over Kyogo, would rather gg starting.

 

Aye to be fair I was gonna mention maybe no statistically but we can all see it i think. He doesn't look as fresh and at is as he was at his best last season..

Opened the scoring a fair bit and shown signs here and there of getting there....but overall he's been way off what we've come to expect from him..

I'm looking forward to bringing in another striker. I definitely think we need it. He's missing way too many..

 

If Giakoumakis is sold we'll be in a title race.

Kyogo should be on the bench at Ibrox.

 

Honestly mate, I think he knows he’s guaranteed to be first choice so that seeps into the game. Giakoumakis needs a run.

 

Criticism is reasonable as he’s off form, but some of it is over the top. He’s not playing well, but we know what he’s capable of.

We’re a fickle fanbase sometimes, myself included.

 

Don’t think so that result today rules Aberdeen out of it I think

 

I love the guy but he shouldn't be starting ahead gia.

 

He's became a luxury we can't afford upfront anymore in a title race
Firing blanks all the time.
Ange has a blind spot for him but he needs a good spell on the sub's bench.

 

He's definitely not a luxury player. He's made a substantial contribution in the title race.

 

9 points ahead before christmas isn't much of a title race, he definitely has to improve but get a grip mate.

 

He's scoring at a rate of 1.15 goals per 90 in the league this season. A luxury we can't afford to play? He's, for me, easily our best striker.

 

You wouldn't be saying that if we had dropped three points today.
He's been pish in the SPL and CL all year.
We can do a lot better.

 

I would have been massively * off at him for sure. But I wouldn't be calling our top scorer a luxury player and making out like he's some diddy.

 

I agree he is Ange’s favourite and GG should be starting ahead of him. However the more pressing question is, how does Maeda get in that team??? The guy offers absolutely nothing!!! He can run fast, runs around a lot and that’s it. No skill, no touch etc etc.

Starting to lose a bit of confidence in the wee man myself am afraid. No doubt he will hit another purple patch and score more goals, but it will come in waves rather than be a constant.

He's a great wee guy but he's not shown this season, that top quality play he did last season. And he does not look confident to me.

 

Some opposition usually play into certain players strengths. The likes of Aberdeen, Ross county, Motherwell and Livi are big physical imposing teams in defence. Ye need GG to ruffle feathers.
The amount of times we are playing wide and putting crosses into a guy who is about 5ft6 isn't helpful.
