    I think it’ll take a monumental effort for France to be dethroned personally.

    I’ll be rooting for Argentina more than any other team (out with Frankfurt) that isn’t Celtic. It would be poetic justice for pure football fans for the wee man to do, Sunday is absolutely huge.

    I think it’s Argentina’s time. They have been playing knockout football since the second game and have gradually improved as the tournament has went on. France aren’t great in my opinion, and a poor England team had a good few chances against them.

    I think it might come down to which team can nullify the other team’s main man. I think it’s harder to pin Messi down than Mbappe as he roams all over the park and pretty much has a free role. Mbappe will play left, stay high and cheat defensively a lot. Argentina need to make sure Molina doesn’t go wandering. I think Messi will have more of an influence on the game and get Argentina over the line. Hopefully anyway, I’d love for the wee man to get the final piece of the jigsaw.

    The English are so * desperate to win they will try anything. Some idiot is saying that there is a loophole that will allow them to win.
    If the 3rd place play off match and the wc final match both end up with 4 players from each team getting sent off both matches become null and void and then the winner will be the team with best disciplinary record and that currently is England.

    Will be rooting for Argentina. Otamendi (Benfica captain) + Enzo (Benfica midfield dynamo) + Messi (GOAT). If Argentina wins, for the first time there will be a player (in this particular case, 2) from the Portuguese league lifting the trophy.
